USB Type C CFexpress Type A Card Reader [CR-CFXA]

I'm a wedding photographer and having a dependable card reader is an absolute must. This thing is super fast and I'm always able to transfer my footage from my CF Express card without any issues. I can dump cards with 200 GB in less than 30 minutes. It's fast and reliable. I definitely recommend. Also the price was pretty good. The quality of it is great, it's made of metal and feels solid and I've never had any issues connecting it to my MacBook. Easy to use and plug right in, connection pops up right away. I haven't noticed any issues with it overheating, I use it with my Delkin cards. Would recommend!

The quality is very good, and the reading and writing speed is very fast.

This is a nice little product. It works as advertised. I use it to offload photos from my CFExpress Type B cards (Canon R5) onto my computer via its USB-C port. It’s a nice size. The Construction is good and the wire part seems robust (note that I don’t travel with it, it just stays home, looking robust on my desk).

Works perfectly and at a great price.

Out of the box, CF Express card fits right in, and the nice short TB4 cable plugs right in to my older Surface Pro, with TB4 ports. Testing a new OWL CF Express card with 30 Gb of pictures and Videos. I set a timer up to see just how long it would take to move everything from the CF Express to the computer. A total waste of time setting my quick test up. I have never seen 30 Gb of files move in an instant. Faster than physically trying to click the timer on an off. Gives new meaning to "in a flash." What I really like is the quality build and the size. If fits in almost anywhere, in a camera bag that is almost too full, and there in a little corner, reader and cable are at home. It would be nice to have a little cloth bag to keep them together, but no deduction on stars for something that works so well.

Even though it is clearly not mentioned that it will read XQD cards, I had hoped it would and that it wasn’t mentioned because those cards are being fazed out. No such luck and that’s ok. I carry multiple card readers with me anyway. Backups to backups. I dumped 500 photos onto my computer from the Sabarent card you see in the photos and another 1000 from the Delkin Black card also in the photos. Neither transfer produced a status bar. Dragged and dropped and the photos were in the folder. These were good sized JPEGs coming from a Z9. The transfers were near instant. Sabrent cards are amazing and come in a great aluminum case. This card reader feels stout and substantial, especially compared to the many card readers I’ve used, heavily. Terrific.

Do not buy this. One of the most useless products. I bought one back in December and it worked maybe 10 times and got over heated but I wanted to give an extra chance to this brand, so I just bought a new one and payed extra for shipping since I needed to give photos back to a client asap and when I received a new one it was faulty. Didn’t come on at all. No blue light nothing showed when plugged in. Now I have to order another one from somewhere else and pay extra to send this one back and pay to get a new one. Extremely disappointed. The product should be tested before shipped out.

Después de intercambiar unos emails, finalmente accedieron muy amablemente a enviarme una unidad nueva sin coste. Tengo que probar la nueva, pero la vieja me pareció bien en los aspectos importantes: transferencia rápida y fiable, se ve robusta, variedad de ranuras para otras tarjetas... Muy satisfecho.

Plug and play, tatsächlich! Super Geschwindigkeit bei CF Express Karten! Die blaue Status Led muss man allerdings erst suchen, aber sie ist da! Ansonsten sehr gute Verarbeitung.
