Amazing product - Oil and Wood Stain
I started a project to up cycle an old oak table and chairs and after sanding down and then staining the wood (using the same brand for the wood stain which is also excellent) I needed an oil to seal everything and it turned out amazing!

Good cleaner and oil treatment
Bought this to clean and oil my banister. It is easy to use and the cleaning solution brought out all the grease and grime from years of use. The oil went on easily and without any mess. The bannister looks and feels nice and smooth. Would recommend.

Excellent wood finish
I stripped a vintage oak standard lamp which I would normally just wax but the different components were a bad mismatch of colours. Having read useage tips and reviews of linseed, tung and Danish oil I opted for this. It's easily applied with a soft lint free cloth and soaks in To bare wood easily. I. Applied 3 coats over 48 hours and the finish is really excellent. Re coating took a couple of minutes so it's not difficult, although you do need somewhere out of the way and relatively dust free to leave it to cure I find stripped vintage oak is quite yellow tinged with grey, and I prefer it to the dark treacle glazes often used on utility furniture in the 1930s and 40's especially. Danish oil does colour your project.. The lamp is now a deep reddish brown which may not suit those like me who prefer light oak, but due to mismatched wood I needed some colour anyway. The, lamp looks really good.. The colour is rich and deep and looks very natural not at all like a surface applied stain. Despite being oil based the product dries with a dry non sticky sheen when cured. The instructions reccomend applying An Annual Refresher coat to maintain protection otherwise it is maintenance free. If the colour is what you are after I would highly recommend this oil as an aesthetic as well As practical finish to bare new or restored wooden items. Although there is no evident top coat as you get with varnishes, the wood feels more resilient and protected to the touch.. And it enhances graining and texture without detracting.

Works well!!
This really works! It is a solution of ferrous sulphate which will patinate brass to a deep bronze colour Ensure your item is really clean; I used toothpaste on a soft brush then Fairy with the brush. A really good rinse in hot water without touching. Soak in fluid as described on bottle and there you go........bronzed brass.

Too strong a smell for me.
A good oil but it has a very strong smell that I personally don't like. I'll stick to Bees wax.

Large can does g pour well
This is a good, absorbent oil that’s easy to apply. I advise using a brush rather than a sponge. The tin of the 5L product was dented on delivery as the packaging was too flimsy. The funnel is badly design and doesn’t pour well, it dribbled all over the place.
