Great tabletop terrarium
Love this Terrarium! I've had mine for a few weeks now and my plants are really thriving. The light is bright and having a timer is a real plus. I also love the fact that I have the option to purchase a new light to fit this planter when this one burns out.

Pretty impressive
First terrarium build. The glass looks pretty nice and really clear, no seams like you would see on a jar. I would say the size is perfect for beginning. There was enough room for me to get my hand in there and adjust everything. Overall I am really impressed. Seems like a really good deal for the price. I'm curious how the plants will do with this light. I will try to post an update in a month or so

Excellent quality terrarium
This is a really high quality terrarium and light. I've been growing a thriving collection of venus fly traps in it and it is a pleasure to look at every day. I got some long tweezers to remove dying parts of the plants. The timer feature on the light is perfect. Highly recommend.

Clean, Compact Terrarium with Useful Built‑In Grow Light
I wanted a compact, self‑contained way to keep small tropicals and moss on my desk without a separate clamp light or a messy tangle of cords. My previous DIY jar setup worked, but light coverage was uneven and the workspace looked cluttered. I chose this desktop glass plant terrarium with an integrated grow light to create a clean display that maintains humidity and provides consistent lighting for low‑growing plants like moss, fittonia, and small ferns. Unboxing & First Impressions: The terrarium arrived well protected, with the glass cylinder wrapped and the light cap boxed separately. The glass is clear and free of bubbles or haze, and the rim is smooth with no sharp edges. The matte black light housing seats neatly on top and the power cord is neatly coiled. Visually, it’s minimalist and office‑friendly—more like décor than a gadget. Build Quality & Fitment: The glass walls feel uniformly thick, and the flat base sits stable on a desk without wobble. The light cap fits flush and straight, and the cord exits cleanly without forcing the lid to tilt. The switch is easy to reach during the workday, and the unit runs quiet with only mild warmth at the light head after extended use. Overall, it feels purpose‑built rather than improvised. Performance & Daily Use: Setup was simple: a thin drainage‑free substrate layer, a touch of horticultural charcoal, and a planting of moss plus a small [plant type you used, e.g., fittonia cutting]. The integrated light provides even coverage for the small footprint—ideal for humidity‑loving, low‑to‑medium‑light plants and cuttings. As expected with closed terrariums, condensation forms on the glass; cracking the lid for a short period or wiping down with a microfiber cloth balances humidity quickly. There’s no fan noise, and I haven’t noticed hot spots or leaf scorch at typical desk distance. For larger or fast‑growing plants, the vertical space and light intensity will be limiting, but for a micro‑landscape it performs as intended. Cleaning & Maintenance: The wide opening makes it easy to plant, prune, and wipe the interior glass. Fingerprints show on the exterior (typical of clear glass), but a quick microfiber wipe keeps it presentable. Using distilled or filtered water helps minimize mineral film on the glass and light cap. Routine care is simple: light misting, occasional venting, and trimming as plants fill in. Value for Money: Compared to buying a separate vessel plus a dedicated grow lamp, this integrated setup offers good value and a much cleaner look. You’re paying for tidy design and convenience—no clamps, no extra fixtures, and less visual clutter. For a desk or shelf display that doubles as stress‑relief greenery, the price feels justified. Pros: Clean, minimalist look that fits a desk or shelf Integrated light provides even coverage for small plantings Stable base; wide opening simplifies planting and cleaning Quiet operation with simple, approachable maintenance Maintains humidity well for mosses and small tropicals Cons: No drainage (standard for terrariums), so watering needs a light touch Condensation management (occasional venting/wiping) is part of routine care Shows fingerprints on the glass Limited space—better for moss, small ferns, and cuttings than taller plants Who This Is Best For: Beginners and desk‑setup plant lovers who want a low‑maintenance, self‑contained display for moss, micro‑ferns, and small tropical cuttings. Great for offices or small apartments where a tidy, integrated light is preferable to separate hardware. Final Verdict: A polished, desktop‑friendly terrarium that delivers on what it promises: a compact, humidity‑retentive environment with a clean, built‑in light. It keeps maintenance simple, looks professional in a workspace, and showcases small plants beautifully. If you want a neat indoor green spot without extra fixtures, this is a smart, value‑conscious choice.

Beautiful terrarium!
This terrarium is very beautiful and well made. It’s large enough to create many layers, and because it’s glass… it looks amazing when you layer substrates. It’s really easy to design something that’s both functional and aesthetically pleasing. These pictures were from October, when I first transplanted my Venus flytrap. They tend to take “a little break” when they’re first transplanted, but oh boy! It’s really taken off now and puts a lot of energy into growing new stems. It even attempted to grow a flower (I cut it off, so it would continue to put its energy into getting a bit bigger. I layered small pebbles, a Venus flytrap (marshy) soil, and used some larger basalt rocks and moss to help with water retention. But this terrarium is great on its own… it does an excellent job of keeping the soil moist. I have it tucked away in a sunny spot in my classroom and my students are always coming over to check on it. It’s fun to watch them play little museum docents and explain to other kiddos what’s going on with our Venus flytrap (aka Trap Door Plant, Bug Death Plant, Snapping Door Plant… they come up with all kinds of names for it!). Initially, I was a little skeptical of the price, but it was money well spent. This terrarium is well designed and very stylish. It’s a high class item that is worth the price tag. It just looks nice! And it functions effortlessly. The little vents open smoothly and the light is a great little grow light. I’m especially fond of the timer functionality, since I’m not in my classroom over the weekend or holidays… I just set the timer for the grow light and then forget about it. The light itself doesn’t get overly hot, but it offers enough heat to mildly warm the terrarium (which is ideal for tropical plants). The lid sits perfectly on top of the glass and I find it easy to lift it when I need to add water. I will definitely be purchasing more of these when the need arises. Plus, I’m considering creating some other little terrariums to give away as gifts. Even friends or family who lack a green thumb (like me!) will find growing things in this terrarium foolproof! Don’t settle for similar products. THIS is the one you want!

The grow light is a real plus!
Having a grow light was a big plus for this terrarium. Our granddaughter wanted this on her desk in her bedroom, and that would only be possible with a grow light. And the size is idea for placing on a desk.

Look great, but light gets easily damaged by moisture
I love the look of this terrarium, and set up my plants. It looked fantastic and the timer worked brilliantly, however, after about two weeks the light began to dim. It continued to get dimmer until I took the lid off to examine it. Moisture from the terrarium had built up inside of it and shorted out or corroded nearly all of the LEDs. Looking at it, the barrier between the LEDs and the inner terrarium is simply a piece of loose plastic that is very easily removed, and thus lets water creep in. I came online to try to reach out and see if I could get replacement light that I could seal with silicone since I do really like the look and function when it works, but unfortunately it doesn't look like this is an option. The customer service for the product is through Amazon and I couldn't find a way to request a replacement light. All told, if you're not housing high moisture plants in the terrarium, it will likely work for you, but be very careful when using it in a high humidity situation.
