SOLID QUALITY WHICH IS RECOMMENDED
I fitted the glass because with this camera it is likely to be in and out of a pocket or small carry bag with a high potential to scratch the screen. This is a solid piece of glass that fits perfectly over the screen and if you follow the well set out instructions you can't go wrong. I have used this 'glass' product before on an iPad and it provides excellent protection hence my using it on the camera. I recommend this item with confidence.

Absolute Pants
I’m pretty adept at installing phone protectors. Product didn’t stick well at all. No cleaning products included. How they can charge £10.95 for one protector that is absolute rubbish is beyond me. It’s cheap, flimsy and not fit for purpose.

Close to great. Otherwise frustrating.
I've just used my third Expert shield. This one was for a Panasonic G80, the first 2 were for a Canon. Frustratingly, they're very nearly perfect, but after putting in more bubbles than I can now get out for the second time (first time was with the first Canon screen) I've concluded that cheaper ones are just less frustrating as they have reduced expectation. Theyre easy enough to get on without bubbles the first time, but the problem is this: ES's are made too big. They're a perfect/exact size for the screen, but that's the problem. There is no margin for application. So when I first get it on, it looks perfect, but it's very slightly raised on one side where it's just off the edge of the screen, so the shield wont quite lie flat on that edge. This would drive me nuts over time, constantly seeing that side of the ES raised and clearly visible. So thus begins a round of removing the shield to re-apply, removing again to remove dust introduced whilst re-applying.... until it's just been taken up too many times and has too much dust under it. You really need to get it right on the first lay down. That's critical. If you do, bingo. A winner. If you don't, 60% chance it'll either end up in the bin or left on but heavily compromised. But it just doesn't need to be that critical. Just 0.2mm smaller all round would make it so much easier to get the critical first lay down with no bubbles or raised edges. If the thing had cost £3 I wouldn't worry. It didn't, I paid over £13 with postage. So I've just given up and resolved to simply take care of my naked screen and keep some microfiber cloth handy. My advice is to either do the same, or if you must, just go with a couple of the cheap ones because these are too expensive to end up in the bin.

Decent alternative if no GGS available
Usually I buy GGS glass screen protectors, but couldn't find one readily available for the LX100, so I bought this. Seems fine, if not quite as nice as a GGS. It feels more like perspex than glass, but I'm not an expert! It's actually about a mm too short (length) to fit neatly inside the screen bezel, but easy to fit and good enough. I don't plan on removing it ever, but nice to know that I can if I wish.

Quality Screen Protector, Well Worth The Cost
Having used cheap screen protectors in the past with mixed results, I decided to spend a bit more and buy a more expensive but hopefully better quality product for my new Lumix DMC-G6 camera. This was one of my better decisions and I am delighted with the results! The screen protector came well packaged with comprehensive instructions and a lint free cloth to be used in the installation process. Installation was straightforward and the result is that I have a perfect screen protector, no dust, no bubbles, almost undetectable, in fact. Screen colours appear completely unaffected, and the touchscreen sensitivity is unchanged. If you are thinking of getting a screen protector for your G6 (or any of the other models for which Expert Shield screen protectors are available) buy an Expert Shield; you won't be disappointed.

The glass was a perfect fit. Good clear instructions on how to apply ...
Got the Expert Shield GLASS product for my new LX100 Panasonic camera. The glass was a perfect fit. Good clear instructions on how to apply followed up by a friendly email form the company who advised me that they were there to help if I had any problems. The glass was very easy to apply. Once I had it lined up, I simply "dropped" into place. There was no squeezing out bubbles etc involved - very straight forward. Just make sure you are dust free first. Once in place you'd never know it wasn't just part of the camera screen. Very happy!

Fiddly and overpriced
Ridiculously expensive piece of 'plastic'. The rather odd use of jokes in the instructions does little to disguise the fact that excluding air-bubbles between the screen and the Expert Shield is not straightforward. I gave up in the end. Not a problem if you don't mind a few air-bubbles, but otherwise beware.
