Great vest, great price. would buy again.
Great vest for a great price. The vest is extremely lightweight, and made of mesh in most parts, so it is breathable and sheds water easily. All the flotation compartments can be opened so you can remove of change any of the floatation foam to fit your needs. The shoulders are great and allow the full range of movement without the vest rubbing on anything. Paddling is a breeze. They go a little overboard with all of the rope zipper pulls. I took a few off, but they do work well.

Feel like good quality
This is quite adjustable, so it fits me well. It's not too bulky, so it's comfortable even in a kayak seat. I love all the pockets! It's going to be my wearable tackle box.

Great Vest
This is a very nice vest. It's very well made. Lots of pockets with the ability to check a PFD off of the list. All in all a highly utilitarian piece of safety insurance. It's not technically a PFD, but it seems to me that the only difference is the amount of buoyancy foam. I added a bit more foam material from Amazon packages that I've received. Tried it out in a river and I'm perfectly content with this. I'm confident that no one's ever going to try to issue me a ticket for boating without a PFD so long as I have this vest with me. The pockets where the buoyancy foam is are accessible with zippers. If you're not in a boat, and you want a pocket vest, you could easily remove the foam. There is a three-quarter inch strap in one of the pockets that should be used for the hold down strap that comes up between your legs and holds it down. It has a three-quarter inch strap loop in the back and it has two complete buckles in the front. It would be good to have some sort of ring, like a heavy duty key ring, to connect the hold down strap to the loop in the back. You could just use a little piece of cord. And of course, the multiple pockets come in very handy. Keys, wallets, and cell phones (in Ziploc baggies) all will be safe and secure in this floating vest no matter what happens. Two of the pockets are even big enough to carry a couple soda cans. No need for an extra dry bag. Even when it is cinched down, tight against my body, the neck and arm holes are so big that I forget that I'm wearing it once I'm in my kayak and paddling. It allows perfect freedom of movement.

Comfy and lightweight, very breathable
I got this life jacket for kayaking and I wore it out for about 4 hours straight. the life jacket was comfy and was extremely handy at keeping all my extra stuff (sunglasses, snacks, fishing license, extra carabiners, etc) safe without making me feel bulky or heavy. it was very hot that day and i was worried id feel overheated but the life jacket was cool and had a low waist so i could move my arms to padddle without feel itchy. the color is also great and noticeable which makes me feel a little more secure being in/on the water. only con was i’m 4’10” and my stature is pretty fit so i got the smallest size and it still is loose on me. however it came with an extra strap and i ran it through some loops at the bottom to tie it to me and it worked perfectly. one extra buckle at the bottom would really help but there is a solution provided which is nice.

Fishing vest
This is a comfortable fishing vest with lots of pockets. The big ring zippers make it easy to open and close pockets. The rod holder attached to this vest works great and helped me a lot from having to go back to shore to keep my reel out of the water when I have to fix a broken line while salmon fishing. Highly recommend

Nice vest!
We bought two of these vests because we had a very close call last week Trout Fishing. My nephews wader belt was not tight at all causing his waiters to fill with water. Started looking into safety fishing vests. These vests are pretty darn awesome. They have foam panels to help with flotation and they have more pockets than you can possibly need for gear. Between a tight wading belt, one of these vests and a wading stick we are a lot safer then we previously were. We don’t plan to go in water past our waist, but falling into a hole is something you need to be careful of. I like the way these vests look they feel good are very adjustable and I don’t think I’ll be going fishing without them.

Best Value Going
I have used and been around vests costing 4-5x the cost of this. No its not the best quality of everything. It provides adequate flotation for 215 (not fat) person. Has all the pockets, adjustability, and pocket layout in the proper manner. Quality will get you years of using it 10 days a month. f your worried about longevity just buy two or three and go with multiple colors.

Perfect kayaking life vests!
We bought these jackets for kayaking, and they are ideal for this purpose. There is more room for your arms for paddling and with all the pockets you have lots of room to carry valuables and other things. I would strongly recommend them for kayaking.

What I expected but don't over fill pockets or it will loose it's buoyancy.

Not standards certified or rated but appears to be great quality (only used it once so far). I use for skiff sailing and the pockets are very useful. Comfortable to wear, even with crotch straps in use. Would get an extra star if it had certification.
