Teva Women's Original Flip Sandal

I had never owned a pair of Teva flip flops before, and after wearing these all summer I don't think I'll ever go back to a crummy pair of old navy flops! I was pregnant all summer and needed a pair of flip flops I could slip on and wear without having that classic, excruciating foot pain ladies always talk about. I was wearing a pair of flat target sandals most days and they just started causing my feet to ache so badly half way through the day. I decided to give Teva a try since they had so many good reviews and were very affordable. I love these so much. I wore them almost every day all summer, and they still look brand new. What does it take to wear these things out?! I love the rubber soles, and the fact that they are black you don't get that icky dirty foot mark you get on leather sandals. I would recommend these to anyone, but especially to anyone pregnant or with foot pain needing something comfortable!*DO buy them one size up! Everyone's reviews are correct when they say they run one size too small! I wear 8's and got these in a 9 and they are perfect.

I know to order Tevas one-half to one size larger than I normally wear so the size, while definitely running small, wasn't an issue for me. They are a little shorter than my older Tevas of the "same" size, different style.I wear 5.5 and the 6 started out tight (straps) but they are feeling better as I wear them.I've been wearing a different style Teva for a couple years and it was time to retire them. I got this style because it was half the price of my old pair. They will take a little breaking in, they have a harder sole than my previous pair, and the straps are just tight. I've been wearing them around the house to break in a little at a time and already the straps don't feel so tight.I can tell these will be very comfy in no time and they feel sturdy. In Hawaii I wear slippers almost daily so I need them to last. I think these will.

I have another pair of Teva flip flops, and they had lasted well, so wanted another. Some have mentioned that these are narrow. Yes, they are. I have bunions, so I can't just slip my foot into them like I can other flip flops, I have to work the straps onto my foot. The bottom of the flip flop is fairly firm, not as "squidgy" as the other pair of Teva that I have. But I am finding that the more I wear them, the more I like them. Being a little narrow, they hold my foot better so that my toes don't have to do a lot of work to hold them on my feet, and that is tiring when you do a lot of walking when you're shopping. And being a bit firmer, I don't feel the small stones on the road that I'm now noticing when I am wearing softer bottomed flip flops. I like the nylon (?) woven straps, they are comfortable and don't rub anywhere. They are also comfortable between the toes. Would I buy them again? Yes, I would.

These Teva flip flops fit just right. Not too long and not too wide. If you like a slightly larger shoe, then order a size up. Otherwise, order the size you normally wear. I usually wear a 7 and ordered a 7. They are a little snug by the looks of them, but still comfy. Sole of the shoe is raised, just like the Teva sandals. The bottom of the shoe has great traction, so I am sure walking on wet surfaces won't be too big of a problem. Glad to have found these more flattering and slender versions! Very happy with the purchase!!

I love Teva, I feel in love with them 3 years ago with the OLOWAHU, 2 pairs later, I went ahead and bought these as they were a killer price.I'm a size 5, borderlining on 5 1/2 since being pregnant. The 5's a PERFECT!This pair is a little different that the Olowahu but it's still comfortable. They probably won't make it past a couple summers with me but I'll definitely buy another pair. I wear Tevas all summer long!!

Who would've thought I'd be so attached to a pair of flip-flops?! These fit wonderfully, and they're comfortable and durable. I wear them everywhere (when appropriate, of course).When you're looking at the price, and thinking 'Well, I just saw a pair at the drug store for $3, why buy these?' Spend the money for these. You won't need another pair for years, and they look great!

The material that makes the thong was itchy and coarse. Its a sturdier material though. Maybe that's the trade off? I definitely felt the flip-flop would hold up for a long time.The sole was perfect. Had a bit of grip to it, which I like. I didn't go sliding around in these sandals like I do in others.

One of the most comfortable flip flops I've ever purchased and I love the stylish purple and black combo too! I like that the upper is made of a strong fabric material rather than the typical plastic that can stick on humid summer days and that there is some support on these flats as opposed to being completely flat. I am normally a 7.5 and the the size 8 fit perfectly.
