I purchased multiple sets of these Amazon Basics cube storage shelves to use as display shelving in my store. After assembling and using them daily, they’ve worked extremely well for organizing and displaying products while keeping everything visible and accessible. What I Like: • Modular cube design allows flexible layout options • Wire grid shelves are sturdy and hold a surprising amount of weight • Easy to assemble and reconfigure as display needs change • Open design makes products easy for customers to see and browse • Works well for folded apparel, transfers, and flat merchandise What Could Be Better: • Assembly takes a little time when putting together multiple units • Zip ties or extra connectors help add stability for heavier loads We use these shelves as display units for merchandise in our retail space. The cubes are perfect for laying out products flat and keeping designs organized by theme. Using multiple sets together creates a clean, uniform display without taking up too much floor space. These shelves are a great option for small retail stores, vendor booths, craft fairs, inventory storage, or home organization. They’re especially useful for businesses that need flexible shelving that can be rearranged as inventory changes. Overall, these cube storage shelves are a solid, affordable solution for retail displays and organization. Well made, all metal storage shelves. Used with plastic shoe boxes to store miscellaneous collection of items. Corner connectors are sturdy and solid. I add small zip ties to ensure steel squares don't work loose over time. Same as other sets I have had for years, so interchangeable if I decide to rearrange / merge with other cub sets. Likely will buy more in future.

I use them as grids for a guinea pig cage and they work really well and are really easy to assemble. i do have the issue though where they don't seem to fit very well together in certain parts of it but that could be my fault. more secure if you zip tie the grids together

I wanted to set up some shelves for storage in my camper. I assembled the boxes to fit along a bare wall. I have some pretty heavy stuff in them and I use them with Ikea DRONA storage boxes. The plastic connectors cannot really take the weight I wanted to put in them, so I took little plastic zip ties and reinforced all the corners of the shelves. I tested it while I was setting them up and the little plastic connectors would just come apart with the weight I was planning to put into them. But with the zip ties to stabilize them they are totally capable of holding the weight. Having the storage DRONA boxes inside the cubicles also distributes the weight so the structure is stronger and more stable. I also put bungee cords across the front of the cubes so the DRONA boxes don't wiggle out while you are traveling. I prefer these to wooden shelves because of the weight. These shelves weigh almost nothing compared to solid metal or wood shelves and with the zip ties to reinforce the little clips that hold them together they are just great for mobile storage. I was not sure they would be strong enough but with the zip ties on the corners they are really strong. Be sure to zip tie the corners before you install the shelf unit you build because it is difficult to install the zip once you have the box structure secured to the wall. Of course you must put the heavy items on the bottom shelves and the lighter items on the top so that they are not top heavy as if you did that the weight could possibly pull the screws out of the walls. With the weight on the bottom it stabilizes them as the weight helps to hold them in place and works with you instead of against you. And of course, I have anchored the wire shelves to the wall to further stabilize them. I am really happy with them and they created a lot more storage space, make the whole camper look neat at all times. Everything now has a place and the DRONA boxes actually hold a lot. The DRONA boxes also come in different colors so you can color coordinate and match it perfectly with the decor and design of your camper interior but I prefer black as it doesn't show marks. Unfortunately I didn't find a box from AMAZON that fit perfectly that could come near the price of the Drona storage boxes, but they fit the Ikea DRONA boxes perfectly. The other thing is that you are not limited by the shape and size of the area you want to use them in as you can modify the structure of the boxes to fit your needs. I find they to be perfect for what I wanted to use them for. They are also less expensive than using the shelves you normally use to hold the Drona boxes which weigh a lot and you cannot alter the configuration like you can with the Cube Grid Storage Boxes. I took the time to write a lengthy review because if you did this type of use without using the zip ties to secure the corners and put the heavy items on top, failed to use bungee cords to hold the boxes in place during travel, etc. it would definitely not work. Another tip is that on the bottom I placed the plastic corner connectors so they are flat on the floor so they act as a flat base instead of having them hold up the bottom like it shows in the picture when you buy the boxes. This is necessary as the bottom plastic corner connectors will end up bearing all the weight and when you use them so they are flat to the floor, the weight actually helps to hold them in place together with the zip ties making the unit stronger and more stable. By using these simple and basic mechanical principles it made them stronger and more stable and I could use them for this purpose. And even if you are putting them in a camper, the use of zip ties on the corners used to hold each metal pane together will greatly strengthen the shelves and make a lot more stable so you can use them to hold more weight especially if you use storage boxes inside the shelves. And as the boxes are only wire, you can see inside them and with no storage box used they could look pretty messy very easily.

this is a product that you must have if you have many things lying all over the floor that need to be organized in a intelligent way. you can put so many things in those cubes. what i like the most is that you can stack them any way you want in any combination so that you can fit it in the place you want. easy to install. price is good. good fit. no missing parts.

We actually got these to expand our guinea pig habitat. We've got a cage that we purchased from a vendor marketed specifically for guinea pigs. But it turns out these grids and connectors are exactly the same size, and fit right in with the others. What I was shocked to find out was that these Amazon grids felt sturdier than the other brand. Noticeably more solid. And the connectors held tighter. I wasn't expecting that since the Amazon grids were so much cheaper. Had we known, we probably wouldn't have bought the other brand at all.

These are a good size for the cost. They are really flimsy. We used zip ties to help keep the boxes together, and it's still not great. Overall, I probably would not buy them again and spend a little more for a sturdier option.

I use these to make display grids for my craft markets. They have help up well with repeated use. I use them to make foldable (I use zip ties instead of the connector they come with), portable displays.
