Excellent for STEM experimentation! !
Tiny micro-motors work well for demonstrating the principles of electricity generation. Generates electricity ( i.e. LED lights up) when you spin the motor quickly by hand, or keep it under a fan or blow air on it, or hold it under a tap water current. There are 2 complete sets in the package. Each set has the following parts - 1) A micro-motor rates for up to 5V/6000 rpm 2) An LED attached to the motor ( note you can remove, change or reverse the LED as needed) 3) Micromotor 4 plastic fins that fit on the motor axle - these and the plastic core that fits on the axle are removable in case you want to fashion your own turbine. The axle is 2 mm, and quite long, around 15mm , so quite versatile for experimentation. STEM projects that can be done with this include a hand crank generator, wind turbine, mini hydropower etc. Excellent for experimentation!

The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind
I purchased this to help give my students background knowledge about windmills. I gave them a four-star rating because they did not come with instructions. Luckily, one of my students was able to get them to work.

Will not order again
If I could give NO stars I would! The motors worked at first but when we tested again for a science fair project they wouldn’t work. The light would not connect or come on. I would not order this again.
