DTECH DB9 Breakout Connector DB-9 Female RS232 Serial Adapter Solderless Module Board with Terminal Block, Case, Nuts and Tail Pipes (DB9 Female + Nuts)

I used this to make a ALDL cable for communicating with the ECM on older GM cars. This works perfectly and is easy to set up. I was able to use this along with a serial to USB adapter on windows 11 and was able to connect to the ECM.

I bought two different versions of these the db25 and the DS9. Both of them had work flawlessly to test equipment before I commit to a plug and solder the cables to it. This one gives you the chance to move cables around until you get the right combination and then solder the cables in the right order on the permanent plug. Bought a few more as spares because at any given moment I have two or three different projects going at the same time and with my luck when I need more they'll probably will not have them. I definitely recommend these for anybody that needs to make a quick and reusable cable or even as a permanent one. Beats soldering.
