Yahweh before Israel

Excellent item arrived right on schedule!

This book is a dense, academic analysis of varying theories on the history and evolution of Yahweh. For a non-academic such as myself, this was not a light a read but well worth the effort. If you are interested in biblical scholarship and Judeo-Christian history, this book is authoritative and worth the effort. I expect that many of the underlying theories on how and why Yahweh evolved apply to other religions as well.
