We had several solar lights in our front garden, which over time have become dim or died completely, so, now seemed the time for some shiny new ones. When these arrived, I was a little surprised that they were smaller than I expected, which is my fault for not looking more closely at the dimensions. However, once assembled they look fine and are reasonably bright. They need to be turned on by poking a concealed switch in the base of the lights, before assembly. Assembly is easy with a few supplied tubes and plastic nuts to secure them. It is possible to use some extra tubes and make them much taller (but we didn't). Apparently, if assembled with the extension tubes, they wave in the breeze. Obviously, they need to be sited with a clear southerly aspect, so they get enough sunlight exposure to charge them. So, we are fairly happy with these solar lights and will be back here whining if they fail, in the near future.

These are brilliant outside solar powered lights. However, only 3 out of 4 lights worked. So deducted a star for this. Update; All 4 lights are now working. The 4th light took a further day of sunlight to charge.

Excellent outdoor light, makes my garden so much more beautiful

Update - 2 of the units have stopped working after only 2 months. Amazon wanted me to return them all for a refund which is annoying as the the other units are still working fine. I still really like these lights but buyer beware! These lights are brilliant! Having not been impressed with previous solar lights I just bought 1 to try, but they’re so good I’ve bought 2 more. Takes seconds to install them and they charge up really quickly - the first day they only had sun for a couple of hours but were fully charged by that evening. They look lovely and cast a soft, gentle light and sway very gently in the breeze. Takes quite a bit of wind to get them to move though so have been fine in the recent high winds. Also have been fine in the recent torrential thunder storms. Will be interesting to see how they are in the winter and whether the sun will be strong enough to charge them, but for now I’m super happy with them. Only gripe is that the instructions have the settings for fully on/flashing backwards so had to go round the first night changing all the switches. Highly recommended!

These solar lights are the best I’ve bought so far, they are bright and sturdy enough, though I’ve opted to not go for the tallest set up and keep them a bit lower. Love them so much I’ve now got three boxes of them in the front garden and they look great at night! Update: After a year (7 months of which was outside) 1/4 of the lights have stopped working and as other reviews have said, water has gotten into most of the units even though I stored them all in the garage over winter. I don’t imagine the rest will all be working next year.
