Soil Test Kit -140 Test- 2026 Version- Testing PH Ammonia Nitrogen Phosphorus and Potassium - Tester for Your Vegetable Garden Lawn and Soil

There are several different types of soil tests and a lot are really expensive and I’m on a limited budget. I found this kit scrolling through Amazon so I wanted to give it a go! The kit gives you over 120 tests and the results came in less than one hour! As an amateur gardener and flower lover, this was the perfect thing! This kit you get reagents for Potassium, Phosphorus Nitrogen and soil PH. There are instructions included on how to test for each one, which were easy to follow. Just to make sure I did it right, I also used the video on the page, super helpful!! The basic steps, which I used were: 1) Fill the big vile that comes with the kit about a inch high with dirt 2) Get some filtered water and then fill with water. 3)Shake it to combine 4) Let sit for 30 minutes. 5) The kit has a dropper with sucks a bit of the water out. I did that and put it in the small tiny tube which came with the kit. 6) Let it sit for a minute after and compared to the provided chart and see the results! (Make sure you clean the test tubes after each use or you might get faulty results) Honestly, I’d you follow the instructions you’ll be able to see the results. I used the results to help my garden and saw massive improvements in my flowerbeds! I was able to pick a beautiful bouquet for my table. This test doesn’t give you a specific number but definitely gave me the test results I needed to see some improvement. My overall summary is this kit was cost effective and helped me get the results I needed! I highly recommend.

Works well Easy to use

This kit helped saved my front shrubbery. My plants were dying. I tested the soil and fixed the problems that a regular fertilizer couldn't. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the testing instructions. I misplaced the instructions and can't find anything online to retest with the rest of my kit. You can test over and over again if you don't misplace the instructions.

I've just started using this and the instructions are easy to follow and I'm, so far, impressed with the results. The number spans are wide on the fertilizers are pretty wide, so it will be additional experimenting to get the soil correct. But with the cost and ease of use is why I rated it this high.

Compared to other do it yourself kits, it was very easy to use. Unfortunately, when the results are compared to a professional lab result for the same soil, the findings are far off. Of course, I have found this to be true of all the other do it yourself kits. The labs are pricey, but at least you know what is actually going on with not only your N P K and pH, but also the micronutrient elements.

Works as directed, however when opened I found the reagents had leaked and made a few holes in the instructions. Also, some of the colors do match the chart very well, but I could roughly interpret the results. Better packing is needed for the liquids!
