Snaps Original Classic Chewy Candy, Black Licorice Bites, 12oz Bag

These were an exact duplicate of the original Snaps. Taste was phenomenal and freshness was perfect. A little pricey, but worth it.

I was skeptical that they could produce licorice snaps with the old recipe, but they did. The flavor and texture are right on it. The only blemish is the color coating on the candy has not adhered to the licorice as well as it should, but that’s secondary to the flavor and texture which matches the original. Excellent experience. I’ve tried some examples where candy makers tried to come close but missed badly. This product gets it right. Well done.

I love Snaps! There is no comparison to Good N Plenty or other substitute licorice candy. Snaps had a unique flavor and I was disappointed when they were no longer available. The package is new and improved wth a zip-lock closer keeping them fresh in the bag in the event I don’t eat the whole bag at once. The bag says it’s a “Limited Edition” and I hope the manufacturer “American Licorice Company” plans to keep making them for a long time to come.

My favorite road trip snack! I was so disappointed when I couldn’t find them anymore but that didn’t keep me from looking for them EVERYWHERE I went! I kept hoping I would find a lone bag in some obscure place not caring how old or past the best by date they were. Seriously! Whenever I saw them I would buy two or three bags at a time. It was a fluke that I even saw them listed on Amazon. Must have been meant to be and I didn’t waste any time in ordering some. Not two or three bags this time but a whole case. Just for me! I have a bag in every vehicle and a bag in several different rooms in the house. Thinking of ordering another case or two because I don’t want to be without them again. So glad they are back and hopefully for good! They are the originals and were sent out and received quickly. Thank you for bringing back this iconic candy!

Being a licorice lover from way back, this is one of the most favorite ones I buy. It does taste a little unusual, but delicious.

I love Love LOVE Snaps. I was very disappointed when American Licorice stopped making them because they’ve been a favorite of mine for years. (Are you listening, American Licorice? Bring them back permanently!) I gave 4 instead of 5 stars because they are so expensive. One bag per year for me due to cost.

Remember them small boxes of snaps when u were younger. U bit into them and they folded in half in your mouth ? Well there back. Not as strong of a black liquorice taste in these tho. Probably because there not stale and hard. These are fresh and soft texture. Very good. Big bag.
