I’ve been using the EvoFox Frost Cooling Pad with my 15.6-inch HP Victus laptop, and I’m really happy with the performance. It’s lightweight, sturdy, and fits the laptop well even if a little portion sticks out, which is totally fine. The dual fans work silently and provide great airflow. I’ve noticed a good drop in temperature, especially while gaming or using heavy apps. It definitely helps in keeping the laptop cool and improves performance. Build quality is solid, and it feels durable. Also, the adjustable angle makes typing and viewing more comfortable during long hours. Highly recommend it if you want a simple, effective, and affordable cooling solution.

So I purchased the Evofox Frost (normal) one on November 2023 (as you can see from to help my laptop cool down a little. The product was pretty basic for the higher price it was back then (INR849 compared to today's INR699). These laptop cooling pads do not directly help in cooling the CPU and stuff (I saw little to no difference in temperature data) but they do help a lot in cooling the exterior of the laptop, which actually makes even the weakest laptops work well in medium to high performance conditions. This cooling pad back then made my weak laptop run games with high graphics for hours (for example Assetto Corsa with many mods) when it can't even run for 10 minutes without the cooling pad. The wire did fail after 3 months though so I had to buy a new one. I also removed the metal mesh in the meantime because I kinda find that fox thing cringe, and that actually made the airflow 50x better. Since then it worked non-stop without any issues for like more than 2 years with super easy cleaning and proper functionality until now when one of the toddlers in my town broke the main USB hub somehow lol. From then I bought the plus version and the start was already pretty terrible due to the fan speed control and provided cable being defective, so had to get a new replacement. After I got my replacement (one you can see in the other photo along with its video), everything went well as the wire and the fan speed control were working. The improvements I saw in the plus version were detachable phone holder, slightly faster fan speed (barely noticeable but it is a bit faster), good fan speed control and the metal mesh finally having a decent design and good black paint (I find the big "EVOFOX" on the mesh good). Looks were great, performance was great and so far the improvements were good. Already used it for 10 days and till yet no issues. So for now, do I recommend this? Yes if you own a decent laptop but may not be useful if you are using a gaming laptop. Works very well if used and maintained the thing properly. Its just this company has to always recheck their products because I do find some defective things in them, but if everything is good then it's going to last very long with great performance.

Works fine, quality build

This does solve the issue laptop slowing down and games crashing during hot climate. Also takes some degrees of the CPU temperature, but that's not the real use of this product. When you use your gaming laptop without a cooling pad the surface beneath the laptop gets heated up and create more heat for the entire laptop which slows the laptop down massively. This prevents that! I gave it 4 stars because there's no software to control the fans or turn it off, even though it is connected to the laptop. There is nothing wrong with build quality or fan speed etc..and it is almost silent. Recommended 👍

Good stand but if you are buying it for cooling your laptop then stop the fans are completely useless no speed, no air flow, nothing. Don't know about other but I felt that it doesn't worth Rs700 Quality- 8/10 Fan speed - 3/10 Compatibility -9/10 Overall impression -7/10
