Great quality colour match and durability
Great paint that should very easy to apply with a great colour match. It’s also hard wearing and resistant to fade. The packaging represented the colour perfectly. Matthew Dawood Khaghani

Bit brighter green than expected.
Good paint, though not quite the colour I expected - it's a much brighter green than depicted.

Dark surprises
Although it says black on the tin it’s a very dark looking paint that somehow seems to give the impression of the absence of any primary or tertiary colour whatsoever. Do not attempt to paint a rainbow or one of Jacob’s coats in this paint. It’s a fools errand. The tins them selves, once emptied, cleaned and beaten into shape, can be made into perfect little steel drums for the tiny hands of a gerbil, hamster or chinchilla. This paint is best when applied to items in need of an erotic black enamel finish and crying out for some brushwork and works best on non organic and pseudo geometric dust free inedible surfaces. The world record for holding the greatest amount of tins in one ungloved hand cannot be more than a dozen or so and one can understand why they probably still won’t allow wearing a baseball catcher’s mitt at these unpopular village events. All in all, this product does what it says on the tin and coincidentally, your little furry friends could soon be performing miniature Caribbean steel drum classics like ‘Yellow Bird’ and contemporary floor fillers like New Orders ‘Blue Monday’ for your friends and family during these coming holidays. The coverage of this enamel is national. It is available as a download. The drying time is purely arbitrary when it’s time for action. It goes without saying.

Nice paint, shame about the volume and product description
The good points first: I'm using it for an ever-expanding hobby project that I started 40 years ago using these paints, and needed to match colours. I'm pleased to say that they haven't faded in the meantime, and that the new pot I purchased matched what I'd done 40 years ago perfectly. Well done. The bad side though is that they're getting a lot stingier with their 14ml -- one pot was only 2/3 full, containing an estimated 11-12ml, and the others barely contained 14ml. In the old days they nearly used to be filled to the brim. Given that they sometimes go 'off' before they are finished, this isn't a fair deal. And despite the description at the bottom of the page reading at the start, "Humbrol Acrylic 14ml paints are non-toxic and water based so can be thinned with water, removing the need for chemical thinners ..." (I only read that bit after I'd committed myself, because I just assumed they were enamels.) I can assure people that it is in fact the same good old solvent-based product that it's always been. The rest of the description seems to be OK, so probably a copy-writing error.

uno dei due barattolini di humbrol paint era inutilizzabile perchè la vernice era secca ed il contenitore arrugginito.
