Excellent greens keeper
This green saver works really well! It is a little bulky in my refrigerator but does keep greens fresher longer. I would recommend to buy.

THESE WORK!!!!
I bought these and we went out of town for a while. I almost forgot to put our veges in the new containers but man am I glad I remembered. Usually when we come back from a vacation like that our lettuce and veges get limp and turn colors and are uneatable. Not this time, after almost 2 weeks the lettuce was green & still crisp as was the broccoli and celery, amazing! I know it's kind of pricey but you will save money in the long run.

Works great, but the cover doesn't close securely.
The cover doesn't seal or securely stay on the container. Usually covers fit snug and you can easily carry it with one hand without worrying. This cover, even though it is on properly, will flip open if you handle it by the edge of the lid. Several times the lid/cover flipped up and the whole thing, container, cover and lettuce shot out of my hand onto the kitchen floor. I now use both hands and I actively hold it to secure the cover. The container works great. I love how Iit collects more moisture into the bottom and I can empty it as wanted. The vegetable don't get all wet, nasty or brown as quickly as they do in the original container/bag. It stays fresh for a long time. Usually Romain leaves are tough to keep crispy for a week (for work) and sometimes I won't get my salad because it got brown or soft. It fits 2 heads of romaine lettuce. (I use a lettuce spinner) nicely. This change the way I store vegetables in my refrigerator. Now I always use these types of containers for berries and loose vegetables. Strawberries, blueberries and lettuce seem to benefit the most. This is a rectangle container with a non locking lid that has a compartment for a moisture eliminating packet. The middle of the lid has a chart for ventilation. Theres a slider to add more air circulation or to close it off. I bought my mom one after using mine for a while. I give four stars because if the cover popping off

Buy multiples if you cook a lot - this WORKS!
We have been working to incorporate more vegetables into our diet, and that's meant in our case a lot of salads, but not American lettuce-based salads... salads in the European sense of vegetables, cold or lightly cooked and served cool, in combination with fresh herbs and seasonings. As such, we've always got mint, flat-leaf parsley, scallion tops, thyme, tarragon, basil, and other herbs and greens in the fridge. They'll stay better if you put them in a zip lock bag with a damp paper towel, but they still wilt and blacken or get slimy after a couple of days. By contrast, these herb keepers will keep things fresh and crisp and healthy for a full week, sometimes ridiculously longer if you keep the water fresh. We've literally had cilantro for *three weeks* kept fresh and healthy by changing the water every ~3 days, using only filtered water (i.e., free of chlorine from the tap), and using kitchen scissors to trim the bottoms every few days to allow them to keep drinking. Some herbs - like culantro - just don't do well once unpackaged, but most do, and this has more than paid for itself with not having to throw out 2/3 of a bunch of herbs because we couldn't use them all at once. We have 3 at present, all full. It means we can make a salad with fresh herbs on Sunday, and again on Wednesday, and again on Friday, without having to go to the store. I can't speak highly enough of these containers - they really work, and they work better than any home-made hack contraption I've tried. Note: the top doesn't clip/snap onto the bottom, as you don't want an airtight seal - i think that's part of the reason it works. But this can lead to the top popping off in the fridge if it gets bumped. You can secure it with a standard size rubber band that still allows for a minimal amount of air transfer, but secures the lid.

Excellent product which delivers the freshness it promises
I have owned two of the large OXO 11140100 Good Grips GreenSaver produce savers since October 1, 2018 and have just bought two more of the same size. All of the items that I've kept in the Keepers have stayed fresh and are peak condition for more than one week. Depending on the produce item, I am able to keep them for over and two weeks without deterioration (for example, romaine, radicchio, celery, radishes, zucchini, peppers.) Further, I have not reordered the charcoal filter that is included in the initial delivery and notice no difference in keeping quality. I made my initial purchase of these rectangular Keepers after a few years of using my small and large OXO Salad Spinners to keep lettuce after washing it. I experimented with transferring arugula from its packaging to the salad spinner and found that it kept for over a week IF --- and only if --- the arugula was either dry in the package (tip: Organic Girl arugula is the driest I've found) or carefully dried before storing. This informed the way in which I stored produce in the Produce Keepers. Items that have approximately the same humidity requirements can be stored together. The icons on the inside of the slider show which items belong together. By implication, items from the other category should not be combined. Produce which gives off significant amounts of ethylene as it ripens should not be stored in the Keeper at all. That includes apples, bananas, pears, apricots, and so on. Look it up if you're not sure. The whole point of the keeper is to prevent the produce from ripening/spoiling and the presence of ethylene will hasten that process. Produce should be dry before being stored, and given enough space to allow some air circulation. This means cutting up some items so that they can be placed in the container (e.g., a whole head of lettuce or radicchio) without crowding or squashing them. The Keeper should be cleaned with hot, soapy water at least once a week to remove any bits of produce (tiny celery leaves, bits of arugula) which have fallen to the bottom of clear plastic shell. Produce should be used in rotation: first in, first out. I have only one negative comment: the Keepers do not stack well. They certainly fit on top of each other, but the top is not designed to nest into the bottom of another. That's a pity, as removing them from the refrigerator requires that one be a little careful to hold onto both the bottom and the top of the Keeper. For me, that's a small price to pay for an excellent product that delivers the freshness it promises.

Keep berries last longer but poor LID design.
- The lid fall off very easily. You will need big hands or 2 hands to hold this container. My son, 10 years old, dropped this container many times already. - Good food storage and keep berries 3-4 days longer than original containers. It is premium Plastic quality that should last very long time if my son did ton drop it. TIPS you do NOT need it if you have a plan to finish all fruits or veggies without 5 days.

Makes my daily salad prep much easier
I love this thing! I bought the 5Qt version, and it does exactly what it's advertised to do. I will likely buy a second at some point. My only change requests are: 1. Add better handles to facilitate pulling it out, or putting it back into the fridge. By "better", I mean more pronounced/easier to grab and hold - I always worry that if I grab it one-handed it's going to slip, and when it does, the lid pops off easily. 2. Improve the dial system for logging when the contents were placed into the container. Having it on the inside of the top lid makes zero sense - you should be able to see and read it without removing the lid. Also the fact that the numbers aren't colored in any way makes it difficult to read. Personally, I have to angle it just right to get the light reflecting off the numbers if I want confidence that I'm reading them correctly.
