Bona Wood Floor Spray Mop Kit

I have just ripped up the carpet in the front room and layed an engineered oak floor instead. Looking for a product to help clean the floor after hoovering that didn't saturate the floor with liquid, I stumbled across this product and it's amazing reviews and thought I would give it a try. I am so pleased that I did. This mop is truly brilliant! It took just 2 minutes to assemble (which involved clipping the handle together and installing liquid and mop head) and you're ready to go. The trigger is v easy to squeeze and a fine mist of detergent is sprayed in front of the mop head. It doesn't saturate the floor but delivers just enough spray to help clean away any dirt/dust and because of this, the supplied detergent will last ages (I have purchased the large refill tub but haven't needed to refill it yet). The swivel mop head combined with the lightness of this cleaner makes gliding across the floor an absolute doddle! This mop kit doesn't leave any streaks, just a very clean wood floor. Like the other reviewers, I highly recommend this product!

Very pleased. Good quality. Delivered on time. I needed a mop to replace a messy supermarket version to clean wooden and tiled floors. I considered steam mops but I couldn't find convincing reviews that stated that weren't going to damage the wooden floors. Reliability also seems a problem. So I looked for a different approach and found the Bona system. It seemed a lot of money at first but I don't think that the floors have been as consistently clean as they are now. Not proud of that statement! It's quick, easy, not messy and very effective. I am definitely recommending this system. I have bought both the wood and the tile solutions along with 2 microfibre pads. Not cheap but it works for me. I hope this helps.

I hate to get excited about a thing like a mop, but this makes life so much easier! The best mop we have ever had (admittedly have only ever had Vileda or supermarket brands, but still..) - no messy bucket to faff around with, does a quick and great job - I use this for a limestone and a solid wood floor (Bona confirmed the cleaner is suitable for both). And no streaks either. Buy the 4 litre refills of the cleaner and it's not that expensive. Also, good knowledgable customer service support - so often lacking with many companies now. Can't think of any negatives - highly recommend.

Love this mop. Easy to use, great for spot cleaning or small areas. Probably wouldn’t use to clean my whole kitchen floor as it’s quite hard work to push - think a mop glides more easily. The pads wash well in the machine.

Assembly is fairly easy and the mop cleans a wooden floor and leaves it looking great. Light, strong, easy to use, with a 'ring' at the top of the handle to hang on a hook in a cupboard. Comes complete, with everything you need. I also bought a bottle of refill and a spare mop-head that is washable and attaches easily via velcro, but not needed them yet.

This wood floor spray mop is an excellent product made from quality materials. It is easy to assemble, although there are no instructions included. However, the photographs on the packaging clearly indicate how it should be done. Care needs to be taken when joining the parts; if connected properly there is a satisfying “click” as two parts become seated correctly. Once assembled, the mop works beautifully. It may be rather expensive but, all things considered, I do not feel it is over-priced. Highly recommended.

My parquet flooring had been coloured a darker colour by previous occupants. Had a professional come in and restore it to its original glory and it looks great. He advised not to soak it in water i.e cleaning via water, mop and bucket and recommended Bona mop and liquid for cleaning etc. I hadn't heard of the product but looked online and then bought these as recommended and they do a lovely job of keeping the floor clean and looking great. The wood floor spray mop was purchased in January 15. The use of the mop stopped being effective because the spring mechanism in the handle clearly either wears out or it just stops functioning as it is meant to i.e you pull the trigger handle and it sprays cleaner directly onto the floor enabling you to glide mop end over the floor, cleaning as you go. I had to resort to pouring some of the liquid directly onto the floor and then mopping. These mops are far too expensive to wear out in this way. However a few months ago I purchased two more, one for use on tiles (due to new tiles kitchen) and the other to replace this original wood floor spray mop. Again far too expensive but I am hoping that this time I might get better value for money in that Bona would I hope have dealt with the ineffectiveness of the trigger handle which wears out over time! I will follow this review up after regular use of both new mops. Based on how the mop worked when first purchase I would happily have given 5 stars however due to the problem with the mop handle I'm being generous in giving three stars and know that if the same happens again, it must be due to the quality of the product...

there is not one thing I do not like about this floor mop kit... its really reasonably priced compared to others on the market.. the wood cleaner is superb for our oak floor and lets off just the right amount of spray at one time. It has also lasted about 4 months and we use it a lot!.. even my husband likes it.. The 360 movement of the mop head and the way it glides across the floor reaching under all nooks and crannies... the mop head cloth has lasted really well and I can't see us needing to replace this anytime soon either. Nothing complicated about this at all and if you buy you will not be disappointed. I even used it on some older laminate and it bought it up a treat.. makes my floors look brand new.. great invention thank you!
