Good book - shame about the inaccuracies
.I wholeheartedly agree with the previous comments. The book is generally easy to follow and well structured but significant inaccuracies in the answers Healy provides for some tests serve to invalidate the book's purpose. As an example, some of the answers to the 'basic' level numerical tests seem to defy principles learned in the first year of secondary school!Several of the other sections have mistakes also - such as the abstract pattern series. Indeed, in this section little help is given as to how we may determine why the answer supplied is correct (if indeed it is!).When I next attend an assessment centre, I hope the test papers (and subsequent answers) have been more rigorously proof read.In summary - if you want a book that gives you a taster of the different types of test you may face then this book does the job - just don't expect to be able to accurately check your results afterwards . . . . . . . .

Errors and mistakes
This book provides a good background to aptitude tests and psychometric testing in general. It includes several examples of various tests. However, the book contains several errors in its questions and answers. These errors distract from the purpose of the book, which is to build your confidence when attempting aptitude tests. In short, the book was no way near as good as I had expected.
