This product is absolutely perfect for self winding caulk lines. I have found that my shinwa works exceptionally well with this chulk unlike regular chulk refill powder that dont work at all . white chalk can't be found in the box stores. didn't want to use red or blue on composite deck. this white chalk is perfect and cleans of nicely.

Great stuff. Nice crisp lines. Adheres to snap line nicely. However, once a snap line gets wet this stuff binds to the line and chalk will never stick to it again. When this happens it’s just easier to get a new chalk box rather than fuss with replacing the line. (Don’t ask me how I know.) Tip: in wet weather be slow to pull out your Tajima. Let the other guy get his out first and ruin his line.

Bought this chalk after trying the white. I was doing interior work and didn't want to stain the walls and be able to wipe/wash it away later. The white was great for this, but I was having trouble in rooms with lighter color paints and whenever there was a transition in light in the room. So I bought this green chalk in hopes that it wouldn't leave permanent marks. It works great and I can still wash it away. And it leaves a super bright line. I was working in rooms with wood floors and the color is so brilliant that it is better to just vacuum than to wipe up chalk that gets on the floor because just a small amount of chalk left will show in the grain and in between boards. Not sure I would use this in a carpeted room.

I’ve used this a few times for metal valley, super bright easy to see and comes right off, a little too easy to come off tbh but it’s fine. Tested on a small bit of shingles and it easily rubs off which is good. Great chalk
