Great pen for those who like a bolder ink stroke.

These are the most awesome pens. I have been using these for decades (through three name changes). When I first got them they were called Atlantis, then Velocity, and now Glide. Every now and then I try a new pen thinking I will find something better, and I always return to this pen. I recently tried some Uni Jetsream Elements (1.0mm) pens and they are smoother than a G2 (which in my opinion are scratchy even at the 1.0mm size), but compared to the Glide, even the Jetstream's felt scratchy. The Glide feels like you are writing with butter, they are so smooth. If I have to criticize the pen, it would be for two things: 01. I don't like the grip (I wish the grip was more like the G2's or Paper Mate Profile's which is also a nice pen), but I have found a work around by using a foam pencil grip. It takes a bit of coaxing to get it to go on, but once on, the foam grip feels much nicer. 02. If you haven't used the pen in a while and/or you write for a while the tip tends to get gunky, but have I never had the excess gunk come off onto the paper, and usually a couple of swipes with a tissue cleans it right up. So far it's been the nicest "cheap" pen I have used.

I absolutely love these pens. They write very smooth and dont leave those little dots of extra ink that smear when your hand goes over one. The clicks ability of the pen is my favorite part of this pen. Its a smooth click out when you want to write and a smooth click in when you are done. And if you are like me, they are great for just clicking really fast when bored.

It’s hard to find this “size” of pen. Picky pen user. These are perfect.

I write a LOT, and am a list maker: notes, studies, descriptions, thoughts, shopping lists, letters, you name it. Through the years I've had a few favorite pens, but when I stumbled upon these - as well as the same type in blue ink - that was it! I fell in love with using these pens, I have one in nearly every room of the house now. The ink is dark, bold (as the name/description states), and extremely smooth to write with. I've ordered these pens numerous times, and will continue to do so. I have also purchased them in red and green. But I had to subtract one star for the following reasons: After writing a few lines, or a page worth of things, the tip of the pen gets 'gloopy.' I've taken to keeping a tissue or napkin close by to wipe off the tip as needed. The ink actually seeped out of the tips of the red and green pens I purchased, which actually clogged the end of the pen where the tip retracts into. The amount of ink has markedly decreased over the years. When I first started using these pens, the ink seemed to last forever; no more. I go through them much faster than before, which leads me to.... There are NO REFILLS available for these pens, which means I end up throwing out a perfectly good pen with a still perfectly-good casing, which is very disturbing from a recycling POV. Because...that's just how things are made, nowadays, right, Bic? Such a waste and terrible for the environment!!! Bic also can't figure out what to call these pens; through the years, they've been known as Velocity, or Atlantis, or (now) Glide/Glisse. I wish Bic could make up their mind about this. While I enjoy using these pens, and will continue to purchase them as long as Bic makes them, Bic would really do themselves a favor by listening to their users, and fixing these particular product issues.

Truly the easiets writers. If you are a writer and you get so tired of typing and just like to glide....well I've tried them all..here it is.

These are my ultimate favorite pens. Black is what I've always used, not sure if they offer a different color. They last forever. It's the smoothest writing pen I've ever used. They can smear but not like a super big mess smear.

I really like this pen. It feels great in your hands. It writes well, it feels like the pen is gliding on the paper. The ink is nice and dark. They also last longer than expected. It's a good pen for notes and a lot of writing. I wish they made these type of pen in all colors!

Excellent pen Such a smooth nib. Pen simply glides. Its a delight to write with this pen.

It may seem like a simple task -locating a good pen. But if you work in a profession where writing is part of your life, it’s imperative to have a good writing implement. My criteria is simple enough: Doesn’t smear Writes smoothly/Glides on the surface Doesn’t leak Ergonomic. Doesn’t fade or seem dry like it’s drying out when I am writing. This one checks all the boxes so I am stocking up. Funny how people borrow this pen and I never see it again

These pens are really nice, they feel good to write with for long periods of time but the ink is a bit leaky for the first little while I found which is a downside. I use these pens to write my notes for school so I was hoping for them to be super neat.
