McCormick Cream of Tartar, 1.5 oz by McCormick Seasoning

I bought this cream of tartar specifically for making homemade play dough, and it works perfectly! The texture comes out soft, smooth, and stretchy every single time, just like store-bought (if not better). A little goes a long way, and the container seals well so it stays fresh. If you make play dough regularly for your kids, sensory bins, or classroom activities, this is absolutely worth having on hand. Reliable quality and great results — definitely a 5/5!

To be honest, I've never used Cream of Tartar before and had no idea why I would ever need to. Since it's been so many years since I have been able to cook, I have been refreshing my memory with recipes and finding several new ones I want to try. Obviously, I need all new spices! But I didn't have to replace my Cream of Tartar since I never had it in the first place. After some research, I wondered how I ever got along without it. Obviously, I had never made meringue before, or a lot of other sweet dishes. I trust McCormick as one of the main suppliers of spices. They make good, fresh products, and if it's a product I will not be using often, I have the option of purchasing a smaller size bottle. I really appreciate that fact. The baking ability of this is of course perfect and since I can buy the smaller size, it makes it a great value since I won't be throwing away half a bottle when it goes bad or out of date. This is the perfect product in the perfect size.

McCormick cream of Tartar one of the best! I make a lot of home baked cookies some to eat some I sell and McCormick never lets my recipes or my baking down! Never had I had to remake a batch over because I used it such great value for the price with reliability I can trust! People love and give so many compliments about my cookies great in pie meringue stabilizing perfection!
