A quality product!
★★★★★ This beef gelatin has been such a great staple in my kitchen. It works beautifully for homemade jello and marshmallows, and it blends smoothly into a thick, ice-cream-style smoothie for an easy protein boost. I love that it doesn’t alter the flavor of what I’m making—it just adds nourishment without fuss. Simple, versatile, and high quality. Definitely something I plan to keep on hand.

This is very important
Excellent quality beef gelatin. It dissolves well, has no strong taste, and works great for cooking and baking. The large size is a good value for the price. I would buy it again.

High-Quality and Versatile Gelatin Powder
This beef gelatin powder works wonderfully as a natural thickening and gelling agent. It dissolves smoothly in warm liquids and sets firmly without clumps or residue. I like that it’s unflavored, so it blends easily into both sweet and savory recipes, great for gummies, desserts, or homemade broths. It’s also a good source of protein and adds a nice boost to smoothies or coffee. The one-pound bag lasts a long time and stays fresh if stored properly. A dependable, high-quality gelatin that performs consistently in all kinds of recipes.

Makes jello well, as noted below.
I have found this beef gelatin to do what I need it to. It will go in smoothies well and grape juice. Its great, but a star was taken off for 2 reasons. 1. It does clump up and not want to mix very well, so you end up chewing on clumps of powder. 2. Whatever this powder touches once it gets wet, you have to clean immediately or the wet powder will harden and be a pain in the ass to clean off. You can make jello if you slightly heat a portion of the liquid. The general idea id one cup of liquid to one tablespoon of powder. (slightly simmering, about 1 to 2 cups will be used in this step) and then move that to a blender and turn the blender on a low speed/med speed (about a 3 on the vitamix). Dont make the liquid froth, just give it enough speed to let it spin in the blender. Then start slowly pouring in the powder until it is all in. Some of the powder will end up sticking to the side, dont really worry about that at the moment (just remember to clean the blender immediately!) Then transfer to the container you will be storing it in. Then take the rest of the cold liquid and pour in the container with the warm liquid/mix. Mix that up for a minute with a fork and then put a lid on it and then put in the refrigerator. After about 5 hours you will have jello. One thing to note is that you should not mix this with certain food that will block asroption of the gelatin (like pineapple). As far as health benefits, have had this for a month, dont really 'feel' any different yet. But I do not know for sure, I had knee surgery where I was not healing well. I have healed a lot better today than I did 3 months ago, but Should I give rest, ice, physical therapy, or the beef gelatin the credit for that recovery? I do not know, but it cant hurt (I hope) and the grapejuice jello is amazing!

There is no bad taste and you choose variety.
The gelatin is unflavored so you can use it so many different ways you can use sweetener or sugar.

All of My Pains Disappeared! - NOW Foods, Beef Gelatin Powder 4 lb.
I bought the 4 lb. jar last January. I read reviews, so I dissolved 1/2 a Tbsp (half of what others were taking which seemed excessive) stirred into 4 oz of water for a few minutes(let it "bloom"), then microwaved it for 20 seconds and stirred again. I then drink that with my vitamins for the day. The temperature is tepid, and there is no taste or smell. If it gets too hot, it will smell like beef bones. I had a worn out shoulder, my knees were hurting, I had a pain in my hip bone where my leg bone goes in and it would give out every now and then, which they say women get after menopause and they have all kinds of drugs for this stuff. I don't take any drugs, so I experimented with replenishing with gelatin/collagen. Gradually, I noticed decreasing pain/worn-out-ness and after 2 months, I was pain free. Eventually, I decreased from daily to 4 times per week. I feel great. No more knee pains, that hip pain/weakness is long gone and my shoulder is better. It did not affect back pain. The 4 lb. jar still isn't finished. I estimate that it will have lasted me a year and a quarter. I just ordered another one. I'm so glad I tried this.
