Bolle SILIUM+ Clear Lens Lightweight Safety Glasses – Great safety glasses that are fantastic for chain saw use. The anti-fog works well and the design of the glasses ensures minimum obstruction to peripheral vision. I use a proper chainsaw helmet but the glasses protect against fine debris penetrating the mesh.

Great product, comfortable and light

I work in the construction industry and these are very good safety specs. They are much more durable and have better scratch resistance than the cheaper options. They are very clear with no distotions and do not affect my eyesight at all; I have had issues with some of the other options that have strained my eyes when I wear them for a while, and so I bought these to protect the longevity of my eyesight. I chose Bolle because I was given a tinted pair last year and have used them right up to the winter, but needed clear ones for the darker days. This is good brand, and I will buy more when I need to.

Very impressive. Crystal clear lenses and a snug fit with no fogging or slipping down on the nose. Bought these for cycling and found them ideal with a wide view and no visual obstruction.

Clear lenses and light. However, the lenses fall out when I stored in trousers. They clip back in until I lost one cycling. If not putting into pockets should be fine.

These are excellent eye protection for my strimming as a gardener and am only replacing them because I lost my old ones. I now have these and a spare pair just in case. I wear these under a mesh visor to protect against the fast moving small particles that get through the mesh from my powerful strimmer.

Feel like they are a bit fragile, but overall good quality for this price range.

Im Vergleich zur normalen (= auch schon sehr empfehlenswerten Metallbügel-) Silium (< 34 g) ist diese mit < 21 Gramm ein rekordverdächtiges Leichtgewicht, was dazu beiträgt dass sie mit den überraschend biegsamen Kunststoffbügeln sehr angenehm & zugleich sicher sitzt; die Nasenstütze ist etwas ungewöhnlich nach hinten abgewinkelt, was aber den Komfort nicht mindert (& wahrscheinlich für noch stabileren Sitz sorgen soll). Die beschlaghemmende Beschichtung funktioniert anscheinend gut, denn man muss sich schon anstrengen um absichtlich durch anhauchen die Sicht kurzzeitig leicht zu vernebeln. Das etwas rauere „Wischgefühl“ mit dem Tuch lässt mich spekulieren dass man hier wohl umso mehr möglichst mit geeigneter Spülflüssigkeit arbeiten sollte (meint vor allem: anstatt nur trocken zu „schaben“) um dauerhaft von dieser Beschichtung zu profitieren. Fazit: wer den vielleicht noch etwas wertigeren Look der Metallbügel will, nehme die normale Silium; wenn es hingegen besonders leicht & sportiv sein soll, dann diese - beide finde ich exzellent.
