Great product and service.

Title says it all - described as pack of 4 bags of chips and it was only 1. Frustrating!

It's the best and ludicrously pricey...

Seriously delicious. These are really, really good chocolate chips. Ghirardelli & Scharffenberger don't even compare. There is *zero* bitter edge to the 63%. It's rich & complex & definitely dark chocolate, but not 'plastic-y', harsh or fruity. (Not a fan of the acidic/fruity notes some tasting chocolates have.) Both the dark chocolate lovers & milk chocolate lovers in my life have enjoyed desserts made with these chips. In fact, this is probably the chocolate you should use to convince your milk chocolate loving friends to join the dark side. ;) Bonus: all of the ingredients are non-GMO and the vanilla extract is real. "Old school" baking chips should not be hard to find but even Valrhona uses soy lecithin. Guittard chips use sunflower lecithin. A word of warning: consider stocking up in advance of hot weather. Every order I've placed has been delivered in an un-insulated cardboard box or padded envelope without cool packs. I once made the mistake of ordering in July and the chips had melted during the journey into one large block of chocolate. It was only an issue that one time; all other packages stayed intact.

This chocolate is a cornerstone of many of my recipes. The chocolate is a solid 4 stars. Delivery time was what I expected. The three star rating has to do with the cost per ounce calculation ($.69/ounce). Each bag is 11.5 ounces. Multiplied by the 4 packages in the listing, that comes to 46 ounces at $49.95. This comes out to $1.09/ounce, not $.69. Which is a pretty big difference if you're just scanning for the best price point. This seller was still the cheapest of all the sellers offering this product.

These are heavenly! They are a wonderful deep dark chocolate with a rich cocoa flavor and smooth texture. I used them in chocolate chip cookies, and melted them down for brownies and frostings, and they have been perfect for everything! So much better than the waxy ones from the mega mart. My 3 year old daughter even likes to eat a few of them with her raisins as a treat :) I have used three of the four bags already and can't wait to try other chocolate products from this maker!

... or any other recipe calling for chocolate chips. These are more expensive than typical grocery-store chips, yes. But they bring much getter quality and flavor. Each bag is about 2 cups. The only problem: order twice as much as you think you'll need because you're going to end up "sampling" about half of what you buy for -- how shall we say this? -- "quality control purposes." Yes, these chips are great in recipes and irresistible by themselves for snacking.
