This manual air horn is super loud and easy to use! I use this air horn to scare black bears out of my yard in western Massachusetts. It's much more effective than banging pots or shouting at the bears. I haven't seen another bear here since I started using the horn. My neighbors know when they hear the horn that there is a bear in the neighborhood. It serves as a great warning device. Of course, you need to secure your trash, bring in your bird feeders, etc., so you are not tempting the bears. But if one should accidently roam into your yard, this air horn is a great deterrent.

It's not exactly what I expected. My fault for not fully reading the product description. I assumed that this would work like the air canister horns, but that the canister could be pumped up to a high PSI. The pump doesn't pressurize the canister, but it pushes air straight through the horn and makes a very loud blast. Thankfully, I haven't had to use it in an emergency, but it seems to be pretty well built.

FINALLY!! A horn that doesn’t run out of air … and doesn’t “leak” the air before you even use the device. That’s because this horn doesn’t use “canned” air. I love it! Besides never running out of air, this horn is Loud. And it works great. We use it almost daily to scare coyotes off our property before we let our dogs out. Two of our dogs got tangled up with a pack of coyotes and were hurt pretty bad. We don’t want that to happen again. I would absolutely buy this horn again.

My neighbors raise Labradoodles. They bark incessantly ( that means they don’t shut up) all hours of the day and night. This horn gets their attention and shuts them up for a while. Well worth the price, and the air pump means you don’t run out of canned air.

Product is very well made. Starting aluminum tubing with a screw on horn made of abs plastic. The pump has great tension so just buy assumption the spring inside should be fairly tight. Loud but not overbearing. Also item was shipped fantastically fast.

We’re using this to train our neighbors’ dogs not to bark when left alone in their yard. It is the only thing that has worked so far. One short blast and we get our life back.

Saves money on a lot of usage because no replacement cost. Just keep pumping. I use It weekly and it still is going strong. The only thing different is you have to keep pumping but you don’t get a continuous sound. Definitely a good value not having to keep buying a new one.

Cool horn that is reusable. Not as loud as a compressed air horn, but still enough to wake the kids up in the morning. Interested in how long it’ll hold up.
