A little overpriced, but great quality. Gets your heater back working.
Easy to fit - even if you have nonl technical skills. A quick less than 5 minute job. Saves replacing your Dimplex heater. Could be cheaper, but good quality and easy to fit. Turn off power, unscrew heater cover, remove broken switch a narrow-ended pliers might be easier than fingers), thread the down cord to fall into place to the rear right side of the heater, then push the switch (by hand) into place. Make sure it's the right way round). Screw front cover back in place and switch power back on. Worth hoovering the heater when you have the cover off.

Still available
I was surprised that this part was so readily available until I read reviews saying it was a part that breaks easily (a weak link). Expensive for what it is. Probably close to 20% of value of whole new unit! The cord is an unnecessary addition. Easy to fit and got the heater running again. I glued the broken original and will keep as a spare when this one breaks.

Weak link. Diamplex money maker.
This is obviously the weak link in these heaters as, if you search parts this is mostly the only part that is found. Saying that, it is a really easy replacement to fit yourself. Very costly for what it is. But it’s either buy this or a new heater. I think if it snaps again I will buy a new heater. Not a Dimplex one though.

Replacement pullcord switch
Super easy to change. Just a matter of taking off the front cover and popping out the old switch. Felt expensive for what it is but, the heater is once again usable. This brand of wall mounted fan heater is no longer available here in Aotearoa/New Zealand for some inexplicable reason and the rival brand had rubbish reviews so, l was glad to be able to repair mine.
