Murder at Merivale Manor

This is such good value and quality. After doing a few of there types of things this is the best quality wise I’ve come across. The attention to detail and level of effort that’s gone into making the “evidence” is amazing. I love that you are essential left to get on with investigating without having to add info in or check in. You are just investigating the evidence, piecing it together gradually and working on it as a case file, then when you think you’ve solved it submit your answer. It’s really clever and interesting. Things are put together well but not so easily it all connects straight away, you do dig and have to prove the theories you think before submitting the answer . We really enjoyed this one and will be doing more!

Really good game that we enjoyed playing as a couple. Lots of twists and turns to keep us guessing! We love these and look forward to doing more.

Great game!! Very realistic and engaging. A good level of difficulty. It took us a little longer than 3 hours but it was our first one. We’ll definitely get another one!

What a great way to spend an evening. The story is well thought out and in great detail. Took us 2hr 45 to complete but it was great to solve. Will definitely be buying more.

Totally addicted to these murder mystery games which can be played by older teenager right up to pension age (which I am) Good quality with an amazing array of clues and additional information. Great value for about 3 hours entertainment. Useful over holiday periods or weekends away. Need on-line internet to get results and help with clues. Merivale Manor was not my favourite but entertaining all the same.

Great activity to do! Something different that really gets you thinking, we did it just with the 2 of us but would also be fun to do as a group as more opinions/ideas will definitely help! Will definitely look at purchasing another one soon ☺️

Really entertaining mystery case perfect for a board game night. The level of difficulty was spot on and the mix of paper evidence and online info that needs to be unlocked by solving clues is really original. Being just 2 of us, it took us slightly less than 3 hours to solve it but one can stop at any point and continue later if needed. Highly recommend

This game triggered an obsession in my husband and I. We've played three other games like it in the two weeks since we first did this one and we have more on the way. I loved this. The cold case aspect was fun and unique from the other murder mystery games we've tried. This is definitely a game you have to sink yourself into and it requires a lot of reading but if you've got the will then you will love it!

Our family with grown kids and significant others did this cold case after Christmas this year. We are a diverse group with very different interests and participation levels. In a nutshell, this was a blast. Everyone participated reading through the materials provided and summarizing info to get the important facts. There were photos - very period appropriate taped on the walls and all the materials spread all over the table. The quality was exceptional. Newspaper articles looked authentic. Witness statements, etal were very realistic. It is necessary to logon to get “updated” evidence to be able to solve the mystery. We were able to solve it but it took a full 3 hours and was a fun challenge. The kids asked when we could do another one - always the sign it was good. I would highly recommend to anyone who would find this activity fun. Well worth it.

Super fun and well organized! Played with a group of 5 adults and we all had a good time! Would definitely recommend, and we will be purchasing another package soon!

Got this as valantine's day activity for hubby and I. (with two little kids, home activities are the best) We are both good with puzzles, so i was a bit scared that it could be too easy for us. It was just the right complexity. I should admit we couldn't finish it in one night and that night al i dreamed about was the mystery. If you like to guess who is the killer when watching detective shows/movies, this is for you.

This was so fun to play with my husband on date night we loved it!! I got the bundle of three so pretty reasonably priced. The Story was great and well paced.
