These pencils were once an unbeatable value, but since the price has jumped significantly, they now land firmly in the "great, reliable choice" category rather than the "must-buy bargain" category. The quality itself is still solid, but the reduced value means they’re no longer the automatic recommendation they once were. Overall, these are still highly recommended, though you may want to shop around for the best current deal.
