I had one of these balls for years with my other labs. I just received this one today. Within minutes, my 6 month old pup was chasing it and diving in to the pool after it. Honestly, I don’t know what colors that dogs can see. But all my dogs have loved these balls for years. I would recommend time and again.

This is my second purchase of a visi-ball. My first visi-ball lasted 2 years so far this one was not shown any signs of ripping apart. It has survived being constantly chewed by my German Sheppard unlike other balls. It doesn't squeak which I don't care for, I'm just happy that this ball has lasted more than a week.
