Day Trading Forex with Price Patterns - Forex Trading System (Technical analysis) Paperback – August 14, 2017

I enjoyed the book and it was very informative. My frustration is it was a suggested bundle with 'Follow Price Action Trends', and they are the exact same book with a different title. So don't buy both and save some $'s.

This book was a quick, straight to the point, educational masterpiece. It is built upon the best technical indicator out there...price action. The book will teach you how to spot gross overall trends and then scale in with smaller time frames to recognize common price patterns. It is these patterns that the professionals and big movers and shakers look for. When there is a break to the upside or downside in the price patterns, moves can be substantial and your going to want to be ready to "ride the pip wave". The book is easy to understand and provides you with a simple system to start trading and make some potential pips. The author is very, very helpful. His E-mail address is included with the book and he invites you to ask him questions related to the book or FOREX questions in general. It is comforting to know a trader with a tried system that works for him; it is very important for a trader to have a mastermind group and a solid support system. Buy it now. You'll learn something from it or at the least, solidify something you've learned in the past. I give it a thumbs up. Great value!

As a novice to forex trading I have opted to read all of Laurentiu's books in preparation of trading. Each book delivers a clear and concise strategy, and forex graphs now have meaning for me. Laurentiu also gives sound money management advise. Start with the 50 pips a day book and move forward from there in no particular order. Each book feels like a new secret is being revealed, and collectively you have strategies to trade with the trend, trend reversals and range trade on short and longer time frames. I am not yet trading live, but research into past price action reveals that these strategies look to work well.

I bought this book only today, but I've read it once over already once. It is so well presented,that I feel much more confident than ever, as I was so reluctant after reading all the discouraging things said about becoming a forex trader and the risks involved. This book shows in very simple terms, effective ways of overcoming the many pitfalls in the business.There are of course a few aspects that needs more understanding, but I am sure that will come when I a read those areas a few times over again.Aren't all educational books like that, the more you read it over, the clearer it becomes?The greatest aspect of this book is not only the simplicity of presentation, but the avoidance of all the various complicated indicators and the use of the best indicator namely, Price Action.Great book that should be the Hand Book for every beginner's reference.

Excellent book. Finally the era of long and useless book is over. In this book you have everything you need. Where to enter position, where to set stop loss and where to exit. And what time frame to use.I have tried to learn Forex from books in the past, but every time failed. Because of this author I started to trade on demo account in just one week. And I knew nothing about Forex before.Thank you Larentiu.

Just finished to read this "Day Trading Forex with Price Paterns" book and it was an excellent read, thumbs up for an easy and simple explanation of best charts patterns formations and how to identify them to profit and on which time frames to use. Trailing stops and entry levels were also covered and well explained. This is a most read for the Forex, Stocks, Commodity traders !!Highly recommend this book to anyone who's starting to trade Forex or Stocks or as refresher for the regular trader.

As a professional money manager and foreign exchange trader this is another great system. Many of the patterns I trade myself work well when traded as designed. This system is for the more active trader and focuses on price action which is all that really matters. Indicators on Meta trader are a waste of time and this will invariable result in the you losing in my opinion. The less distraction and the more focus on price action the better your results are likely to be.I think Laurentiu Damir is very generous in sharing something so simple that works so we can get on with using the correct money management and training ourselves to develop the necessary patience and discipline required to be consistently profitable traders.

This is a great little book. I hate reading books that take you on a long boring journey just to get you to a point that does you no good.This book is short and to the point. Very well written and easy to understand.

This book was dreadful, The first time I've sent a book back to Amazon after many previous purchases over many years.I thought it was very poorly written ,very few pages and content for £15 (although what i read was quite enough for me !) A very basic run down of common chart patterns e.g wedge,flag,use of 200 moving average etc.I found it very annoying that in the first few pages the author would say something like " if you would like to know more about intra day patterns" or in a different section if you would like to more about "reading price action on 4 hour charts " then you need to buy my book on....(this is a summary of what he said not direct quotes as the book has gone back but basically advertising his other books for sale)He suggests risking 2/3% of capital on a trade...any trader worth their salt would never suggest such a large percentage 0.5/1% at most ,,,,there are so many much much better forex books out there.

Brilliant. Mr Damir is a very accomplished trader. I have traded for some ten years, and used every sort of indicator and system. But I have come back to realising that simple is best, and the only real way to success is to focus on Price Action and Support/Resistance. These are the only indicators that are actually real ! If you combine that with recognition of certain simple Candlestick patterns, you can't really go wrong.I have bought all of Mr Damir's books, and they are fantastic value for money, and most of all, they work. Forget wasting time looking for clever, complex systems. This is all you need.And to those who criticise his use of the English language,I've got to take issue with your reviews. Its unfair. I consider myself an academic, and I'm pretty picky about clear and concise English. You might almost call me pedantic. Mr Damir is clearly not a native English speaker, but I've had no problem reading any of his books, or indeed understanding anything he has written. I have traded for ten years, and understand the concepts involved very easily, yet I don't think I have an unfair advantage. He writes clearly and concisely, and nothing he has written is difficult to understand. I have no connection with Mr Damir, other than being very impressed with his simple, yet effective trading systems.

I have become a big fan of this writer on price action and decided to get all his books; because am now converted and have a secret mentor in him. I was not a fully skilled pattern trader; but when I read this book my confidence blew through the skies. It's a straight jacket truth about price pattern trading. I intend to use this as one of my major kill bullets in trading the Forex henceforth when looking for patterns. Your eyes will pop out how simple Mr Laurentiu has written this and yet powerful. Follow it to the letter don't cut corners and you will see it in powerful action.PETER A. PUK

There is nothing particularly exciting in here or any of Laurentiu Damir's books, no claims of a holy grail or short cut, and no indicators with complex names (or in fact any indicators except MAs) or promises of riches, so anyone looking for that mirage should go somewhere else - there is in each book a simple self-contained system that can be practiced immediately.Each system uses the same building blocks - specifically, ways to spot shifts in the distributions of buyers/sellers using candles; places at which to look for action (hor and diag S/R and Fib levels); and how you can determine momentum (using the price action on two or more time frames and the Moving Averages) so as to only trade in this direction and therefore maximise the chances of a profitable trade.They are all excellent, and even though my trading system is already remarkably similar to these, I learned some new things and have many new suggestions to think about. Highly recommended.

I've had some experience of trading and done OK but I have struggled to find a proper strategy. What I like about this book is the concise way it is written. I have yet to put this strategy into action to see if it works for me but I am keen to do so. I have read elsewhere about some of the Price Patterns described here but I think it will help me getting my trade entry points better placed so have a higher ratio of successful trades than I currently get. Some folks point out the authors first language is not English, but there are very few typos or confusing sentences. I found it easy to read and understand. I have since purchased a couple of other books by this author and found them very helpful and interesting too.
