Top quality, great value vertical mouse
I was suffering from pain in my forearm due to full days working on a computer. Rather than blow a wodge on a top branded vertical mouse I thought I'd give Perixx a try and I'm glad I did. The quality is great. Adapting a lifetime of mouse use to a vertical mouse takes time. Aligning your fingers with the mouse buttons will take time. Not knocking the mouse over when you move your arm around will take time. If you persist though, it will click and muscle memory will do it's thing. The DPI button works well - there's a noticeable difference to responsiveness when toggled, so play with your mouse speed settings to find what works for you. Finally, thing it comes in a USB-C option (Permice-513C).

Great design and what a light show!
What a great light show! The mouse and charging pad work very well together. I am impressed with the charging light that appears around the rim of the charge pad when in use. A great light show if you want to put excitement into the mundane. The mouse itself works well and has a nice weight to it which for me adds value to my purchase. I think if you buy this you will enjoying using it. I'll also mention that the mouse also relaxes my hand when I use it. So far, definitely a good buy. I recommend it.

Comfortable and reliable, but same problem with scrolling mousewheel
I've had this mouse for 4 years and not had any problems with it... apart from the mouse wheel. I know that issues with the mouse wheel are fairly common, but over the past 6 months this became particularly egregious, and attempting to scroll was effectively useless. 75% of the time I'd scroll down, and it would go up. The reason for this (in this and LOTS of other scroll-wheel mouses) is that the scroll wheel is supposed to rotate a tiny little spindle, but it becomes loose or slippy and so either doesn't spin or catches the wrong way. Search for 'perixx mouse disassemble' and the top YouTube result will show you how to take it apart. Once you've got the mouse wheel free, remove any hair and dirt wrapped around it (and there will be some, I guarantee), then wrap a tiny amount of PTFE tape ('plumber's tape') around the shorter part of the spindle that inserts into the tiny wheel, then push it back back in. PTFE tape is designed to make tight seals for connecting pipes and taps, so is perfect for this. You might have to use a little more oomph to get it in, but once that's done, but the mouse back together, and enjoy a working scroll wheel again.

Great Vertical Mouse For Normal Sized Hands
Lovely little thing, cheap, great for taking strain off the wrist, and just plugs in and connects automagically like you'd expect a usb mouse to. I have XXL size hands so my little finger would get pushed into the table, but that's easy to solve by sticking some furniture pads to the buttons, palm rest and lower lip(cut them up into 1cm squares, since they don't bend too well). That shouldn't effect normal size people, it's only just enough to bother me. Very lightweight even with all this nonsense glued to it You will struggle to use a normal wrist support with it, but if you feel the need, stackable door wedges can help, either to raise up a small support or just by themselves. Dpi goes high enough to comfortably and accurately scroll the whole screen in the size of a playing card if you need it

New mouse
Easy set up, plug & play, and to be fair easy to use and I’ve noticed the difference from my old mouse, very happy

Brilliant mouse
I wanted to wait for writing a review. I purchased the Perixx PERIMICE-513 Wired Ergonomic Vertical Mouse on 4 Oct 2022 for work. I chose the wired as I am not allowed wireless due to security reasons. Nearly three years using the mouse and it still looks nearly brand new and works a dream. I have larger hands and the size and fit are good, comfortable. Good price for the quality, I certainly have gotten my money worth from this product

It's OK, but there's no German precision here
Positives: my wrist feels a lot better. My purchase was prompted from pain in my wrist that was aggravated by prolonged keyboard and mouse usage. Unsure of whether a vertical mouse would help or if it would even feel comfortable, I bought a cheap one from a brand I at least recognised. Negatives: the scroll wheel is frustratingly bad. It will frequently not register if all you want is a single click and sometimes it is so sensitive that an accidental sideways nudge will activate it. It will frequently recoil, so when scrolling down it will recoil up a little at the end. Overall: I like vertical mice and my wrist has greatly improved over the 2 years I've used this mouse. When I decide to upgrade I will get another vertical mouse, but I will pay more in hopes of better build quality. If you're unsure about vertical mice and want a cheap one to try, then this is a decent mouse as long as a decent scroll wheel is not important to you. If you have the money to spare, then buy a more expensive mouse from a more reputable brand for better build quality.

Good for the price
To be properly ergonomic, the buttons side needs to be less curved like the more expensive mouses as the muscles are still tensed but I needed Bluetooth as too many USB dongles for different devices was getting ridiculous. I really like it’s got a proper solid click feeling to the buttons, silent ones feel to mushy and not as easy or satisfying to click. Quality of the mouse itself and packaging was great. Time will tell how the build/connection quality holds up in a few months and if it reduces the ache in my hand but nice touches like the solid clicky buttons, Bluetooth for two devices and a convenient pouch especially if hybrid working making it easy to pack up and shove it in my bag are worthy of 5 stars. It’s better than the generic mouse but you won’t be getting the ergonomics of the more expensive vertical type mice. Working fine after 6 months of everyday weekday use. Only negative I have found is it doesn’t have auto standby then click to wake it up, which is on the cheaper mouses. Laser is always on 24/7, using battery and if you move it, takes the computer out of standby too.
