Knowing how much I dislike wasting water, my son got me an AutoTap faucet as a gift for my birthday. While visiting his dentist, my son saw how conveniently a pedal was being used by the dentist assistant and his hygienist. In response to his inquiry, the dentist said he was very happy with his Autotap pedal performance and highly recommended it. This small device has completely changed the way I work in the kitchen - not only is it good for the environment, the ability to work the faucet hands-free has been incredible. Whether I am washing my hands after handling raw meat without touching the faucet, or rinsing my dishes for the dishwasher without wasting the hot water, I couldn't be more delighted with this device. I was initially concerned that there would be times where I might need a constant flow of water (for example to fill a sink) and that this would require me to stand at the kitchen faucet, but there is a lever to engage the pedal lock very easily, and you can switch back to a constant flow of water if needed. The extra long pedal makes Autotap very easy to use, and I can't say enough good things about this product for anyone who wants more convenience in the kitchen, and wants to reduce water wastage. Installation instructions were very easy to follow and my son was able to install it for me with no issues. I've recommended this to a couple of my friends and those who visited me were impressed with its simplicity of use and features.

I am a Plumber and a huge fan of foot pedals over touch faucets. Thought I would give this inexpensive one a try. Don’t there are some gray ones out there. Spen the money and buy a good one

For years I dreamed of a foot pedal to turn the water on and off when doing dishes, washing hands, etc. This product is the answer to my dreams. It works beautifully, saving water and time, and keeps the deck behind my sink dry. It came with clear installation instructions and the best customer service I have ever received. Definitely five star in every way!

The scenario that we were trying to address it that when preparing meals you often want to rinse your hands or the cutlery or utensils that are in play. Normally you would go to the sink, put down whatever you are using, work the lever and rinse but now the faucet lever is covered in raw meat juice (or something) so it needs wiping, and then resume meal prep. With the foot pedal it's just so much cleaner, more sanitary, and more streamlined. It's brilliant. Installation is straight forward if you have a standard 4" high toe clearance area under the counters. I don't because I made my own cabinets and they are not to standard so the pedal installation was a little more challenging but it all worked out. The product design is excellent. The valve that is actuated by the pedal can't be damaged if you accidentally kick it to hard (I just requires a light touch with the toe), the locking lever makes creative use of magnets to hold the pedal in the 'on' position, and you get good water flow through the use of a hydraulic relay. It's all very well thought out and we really like it. The big question is what the service life will be but based on what we've seen so far it should be quite good

This is my second purchase of a foot controller for my kitchen faucet. I liked the first one which stayed at the house we sold. This one is even better. It tucks under the toe kick better for less accidental stepping. It is less conspicuous. and installs easily. This is a great item for someone like me w/severe arthritis. I need both hands to hold on to anything I'm rinsing, leaving no hands to control the water. So before I wasted ALOT of water. With this, I only use a small bit of what used to go down the drain. Also my bad shoulders and elbows make it almost impossible to reach the faucet handle. This device helps me and the environment. I can't recommend this device enough...its great!

I have a problem with Amazon, not Marshall Plumbing. Amazon advertises this product to be stainless steel. It is plastic. Not a good way to do business. I have spent alot of money with Amazon, but this makes me leary of future purchases. I kept the item, because I need it NOW, but I don't appreciate the deception. Amazon should make amends for this huge erroneous description.

What can we say -- we love this thing. It's so convenient. We can leave the faucet hot/cold to the setting that's best and then anytime we turn the faucet on it's at the perfect temperature. Otherwise we keep having to turn on and adjust. Saves so much water when doing dishes cause I can control water for only when I need it. Best purchase every. Love it and planning on getting more for friends/family.

Huge waste of money. Doesn’t ever work right; not consistently bad, bad different all the time. Such a POS. We even got an exchange, went to the pain of changing and the new one is the same… awful and frustrating.
