Xuron 494 4 in 1 Crimping Pliers

Buy this crimping tool instead of wasting money on others before you buy this anyway. It works perfectly first time and gives professional looking strong crimps, without the learning curve that other crimping tools have a reputation for needing in order to be used properly. Don't despair if you think your crimping skills will never be good enough, this tool is designed to work properly, and do the work for you, which some other tools in my experience fall short of doing. If I had bought this first I could have spent the money wasted on other tools for different sizes of crimp on beads! Live and learn! Far superior to two other popular brand tools we have tried. My wife is recovering from a minor stroke and I am writing this for her. She is so relieved to have a tool that she can use to make crimps, as she was beginning to think she would never be able to accomplish this aspect her new jewellery hobby properly. Just watch the straightforward and short YouTube video, it's easy.

They feel lovely in the hand, and are very capable pliers. I use them for chainmail and they are capable of closing much larger rings than I thought they would be able to. Currently my go to plier, the handle is shorter than average, making them much more portable, just wish I could have some sort of case for them, as they spike through my bag when I take them about with me, and I have taken to putting them back in the cardboard they came in, which is not a long term solution I don't think. Still I have spent many happy hours using them, and they show little to no signs of wear.

I've used so many different crimping pliers, which to date have mostly been useless.... ...until I bought these! They are great quality, as all Xuron pliers are, but more importantly, they do the job they're intended for. Three size crimp grooves and a substantial folding groove, which completes the task. As well as that, they have a very fine flat nose end, so I find myself using these for my rosary linking as well. Just a fabulous tool

This is good but not perfect. It makes a great dent in the crimp tube, but I use my old (far cheaper) crimping tool to squish the tube after its been dented! This tool doesn't do such a good job at that stage.

Great flush cutters that are also really strong. Great for making my 1.6mm copper wire S links - can get them right in and achieve a flush cut with no bother. Great seller who communicated well to confirm they were genuine Xuron. Thank you!

Easy to use and nice to hold in your hand.

As a professional jewellery maker I cannot tell you how much I love this tool. I was apprehensive but it works beautifully everytime! Honestly I wish I’d bought this ages ago. If you’re thinking of getting one, don’t think too long - get it! I love it

I bought this item two years ago and I used it daily it was very good plier, but recently, the blue rubber cover broken and I couldn't find replacement for it ..now I can't use it anymore.. I'm not gonna buy another one ..it's so expensive.. I'm really disappointed 😞

Held off on buying these for awhile since they’re a bit pricey, but they were so worth it. The chisel tip works better for securing rings in tight spots without warping them than my needle nose pliers, and the rubber handles save my hands when I’m working on a piece for a long time. I notice a big difference between the hand I hold these pliers in and the hand I hold my old pliers- my old pair have very hard handles and even after wrapping them to make them softer, the xuron pair are still easier on my hands. They aren’t as great for wire thicker than 14/16g, but anything up to that is perfect

I have ordered several thread cutters and these have been the best so far. These cut any thread without holding tension on the thread which means that I can cut using one hand without putting my work down and losing my place. Awesome! Have used for over a year and they have kept their edge and cutting ability as if they were new.
