We use these constantly—chips, nuts, frozen vegetables, you name it. Strong spring tension, solid build, and they actually seal bags instead of pretending to. No sharp edges, comfortable to handle, and they feel like they’ll last for years. (The silicone covers on the edges...pure genius.) They're lightweight and versatile. I like the fact that these are black as well. The others we've bought do not have a finish and eventually rust. That is assuming they do not disappear.... That said, they appear to possess a mysterious survival instinct. No matter how many I buy (this time: two full boxes), they slowly disappear from the bin and reappear clipped to random bags throughout the kitchen and freezer. Eventually, I run out and buy more. This is not a product flaw—this is a household law of physics. You've heard of gnomes in the laundry? Yeah, we have gnomes that love these clips for some reason. As such, affordability is a big deal for me and these are very affordable. If you want dependable, heavy-duty clips that get used so much they’re never where you left them, these are an easy recommendation. Buy extra. You’ll need them.

These stainless steel clips work on everything. Strong, perfect size and do not rust. They are worth the price, much better then cheap plastic clips that break. Doubt I will have to purchase more clips for a very long time! Definitely recrecomend!!

These clips are both very effective and inexpensive. They have a very strong spring, they are sufficiently rigidity to clamp reliably, and they have silicone jaw protectors that both prevent sharp edges coming in contact with whatever you’re clamping as well as protecting your hands. The silicone also has a nonslip quality that makes the clip stay on where you put it far better than any other ones I have bought. The other edges besides the jaws are slightly sharp, but not enough to hurt yourself on. All in all just about perfect.

These are so sturdy and tight hold. The only reason for four stars is that they can be hard to open the clasp if your hands are the least bit wet. I would give it five stars if the clasp was texture or covered with rubber.

Amazing clips. I had my doubts about buying these clips, but they really hold up to all size bags and provides a tight seal. When used in the freezer they don't snap and break. Everyone should have a set of these clips. Love the color strip on the bottom.

Awesome clips! Super fun, and really keep my chips, bread, and cereal bags closed. I highly recommend these for whatever closure needs you may have!

Arguably the best chip bag clip available. First, it's stainless steel, which doesn't crack or snap off like the inferior plastic clips. Second, the clip edge is coated with silicone, which grabs to plastic bags. Much stronger grip than a plastic clip attempting to hold onto a plastic bag. Third, the metal spring is much better than a plastic spring, especially for use in the freezer. I bought a dozen, and they're all in use. Should have bought two or three dozen, because I use these guys for all sorts of food bags, whether chips, cereal, nuts, or meat balls in the freezer. Being somewhat of a pessimist, I wonder how well the grippy silicone edges will stay put. So far there's no indication they will come loose. But even without the extra grip of the silicone, these clips will grip well. and the shape is much ore sensible than the pictures indicate. Don't even pause to think about these. Just order yourself a few dozen. Give 'em out to your friends to score social points.

After dealing with plastic chip clips that break and clips with magnets that don’t hold them on the refrigerator like they should, I have to say these chip clips are fantastic! With the silicone strip, they cover any sharp metal edges and they help the clip grip the bag well. The springs are strong, but not so strong that the clip is hard to open. They are easy to open. I got these clips several months ago, and not one of them has broken yet. Overall, great value for the price.

I have bought this product before and loved them so I was surprised to find only 3 in the bag. The bag was only big enough for three too not 12. I'm very disappointed. When I called Amazon they refunded my money but I am not able to re-buy them because they are currently unavailable. Maybe I got the last 3 they had? I can't seem to contact anyone from the company. I'd love to know what went wrong. Well I guess I love to hear if any bag clips are just as good.
