Seed Needs Coleus Seeds for Planting Rainbow Painted Nettle - Heirloom & Open Pollinated Mixed Flower Seed to Grow an Outdoor Butterfly Garden to Attract Pollinators (2 Packs)

This is a really great plant to grow and a great addition to your garden. Germinating these seeds was relatively easy, took a few days to germinate. I used soil pods and a cover, to trap in humidity and placed it on my balcony. Once seeds hatched I transplanted to a bigger pot with nutrient rich soil and seedlings took off! It grew about 3 feet in height may potentially grow bigger if using bigger pot.

Seeds were sown on a clay pebbles bed in a hydroponics system on March 10th. They showed signs of germination on March 12th and by April 4th I had about 95% germination and some were showing signs of color. Some seeds may have drowned by getting stuck under the pebbles but the quality and health of the seeds didn't have any impact on that. I didn't count the seeds but I'm confident I received all that I purchased and given how quickly they germinated, I believe they were definitely worth the purchase. I'm extremely happy with the quality of these seeds and would highly recommend buying them.

Update: these seeds produced some GORGEOUS coleus! So many different varieties. Some are HUGE. I have some going that are 3 and 4 feet tall and just look amazing. I would definitely buy seeds from this brand again. Just gorgeous! You will have like 80 million coleus plants. The seeds are sooo teeny tiny miniscule. I never knew what coleus seeds looked like. I had intended to plant them with the kids, but these aren't a good choice for that since the seeds are the size of a pin point. It says you get a total of 800 seeds and I would say it's more like what seems to be 80 million. I did up a bunch in little seedlings cups and put them under my lights. It got to the point I thought none were gonna sprout and then the next day, when looking super closely, I saw the teeny tiniest little green dot sprouts in all the cups. You really have to look hard to see them. After that, they all started popping up and growing more. Since the seeds are so tiny, I was just picking up a bunch on my finger tip and then sort of flicking them off into my little soil cups. I figured half probably wouldn't be viable anyway, so no big deal. Nope. Seems like they pretty much all sprouted and now there's a million coleus growing in each lil seedling pot. Sooooo now I am about to redo into bigger cups and separate all the tiny plants before they entangle roots. I am so curious to see how they end up and what the colors will be. Hopefully not all green. I will update my review as things go along, but as of now I'm perfectly happy with them. Even though it seemed to take long to germinate and see a sprout, it was actually quicker than it was supposed to be. I still have no idea how I will use up all the seeds. Definitely a great value.

Planted two packs and not one seed came up . I am a well experienced gardener and have well prepared soil in my established flower beds location a good match for light requirement did not contact the company because with that kind of failure I will just move on and delete the company as I would do consider they must have inferior product . So my experience terrible value for the money.

Well out of 7 different kids of seeds I bought from Amazon these are, one of the two that actually sprouted, but I had to start them indoors. I started one indoors and then directly sowed the second pack. Only the one indoors did anything they are stating to get bigger so I’m calling this a win

Most/all of the seeds appear to be blooming a little after just a few weeks. However, they are rather short and small which may be due to how we planted them. The instructions were not very clear to us as to how the seeds should be planted and the spacing requirements. Also, receiving 800 seeds per package compounded the planting process because we did not know how many seeds to plant in the limited space we have around our condominium. So, we consulted experts on the Internet for more information which was not helpful either. At this point we took it upon ourselves to plant a handful of seeds in several large pots (12" to 14"). As mentioned, the plants are growing, but now they are very congested and we do not know what the plants will look like as they develop this season. Our advice to the seller is to provide comprehensive instructions that are easy to follow along with photos of the growth stages as the plants develop over time. To conclude, we can only recommend this product for experienced growers of coleus plants who have had success growing these plants in the past.

I didn't do enough research on planting coleus seeds. They take months to grow. I'm just going to go ahead and get some at the garden center and make cuttings from it.

I highly recommend buying these seeds they are beautiful. Costumer support is great. I accidentally confused my basil pot and my coleus pot and since my basil seeds grew first I thought they was my coleus and they was all green. I contacted support they was so great. A week later my coleus started growing and I saw the coulours and realize my mistake. I told them about my mistake and they was understanding. But these seeds are quality seeds. ❤️❤️ I will be buying lots more. Thank you so much.
