Panasonic AAA (1.5v) Zinc Carbon Batteries (also known as UM4, MN2400), 10 Count (Pack of 1)

These are so handy to have and work so well. I've purchased a 10 pack and have only used 2 so far!

There is nothing remarkable or special about these AAA batteries... They essentially function just the same as ANY other brand of AAA batteries... They are mostly practicality the same as each of the other brands, of this specific type of battery, and basically provide the exact same voltage (power) AND battery life - the only real difference is that each brand puts their own vinyls/labels (stickers) on the actual battery cell/s to make them look 'pretty', but they are in-fact the same. I have tried so many different brands, from dirt-cheap, to unreasonably expensive, and found that regardless of the 'brand', each type of battery, for the AAA spectrum, performed marginally identical to the rest, in each sub-category division... So there is no real, clear, "better choice", just a case of finding a better value multipack to cover your needs AND is more suitable for your personal budget per week/month/annum... I found x10 to be the best choice for ME - because I have a specific, power-hungry device that requires a change every 9-10 days + another couple of devices that benefit from the flexibility of having 1-2 spare each month to effectively have just the right (PERFECT) quantity to keep them in the loop!..

Great value for money, just dont last as long as some others.

Nice name brand batteries. You get 10 in a pack which is plenty. I purchased them to use in my remote control. They works for their intended purpose. Zinc Carbon batteries are cheap and suitable for low-drain devices: think clocks, calculators, remote controls etc. They have a lower capacity than their alkaline counterparts and are not rechargeable. In low-drain devices, I prefer them over alkaline batteries, because they tend to run out before they leak. This is great for devices like remote controls/kids toys where dealing with corroded contacts sometimes means you sometimes end up having to throw the whole thing out. If you are thinking of powering a portable fan or flashlight, I would suggest you look for alkaline/lithium batteries as they have more battery capacity and will probably work out cheaper as you won’t be replacing them so often.
