This is the way to go if you need to replace your seven pin RV whip. Fit flawlessly in the bed of my truck and easily plugged into my existing one on my 2019 F350. Would recommend.

The wiring harness seems like a good product, but the installation kit needs improvement. It's a simple install and shouldn't take you long to complete. I installed the product last night. I watched some installation videos, which made the instructions easier to follow. You will need a drill and a 2 1/8" hole saw. One of the connectors didn't quite fit into the back of my factory 7-plug receptacle. It snapped together after using a razor blade to shave about 1 mm from the fastening clip. This may have been an issue with my factory plug, however. There was a rubber o-ring and quite a bit of dielectric grease in the old plug, which may have prevented the connectors from fully mating. The factory box was not taped closed and was missing the four self-tapping screws, so I had to make a run to the hardware store. The box was lightly damaged. My assumption is that the box was dropped at some point and the screws didn't make it back in the box. They weren't in the Amazon packaging, so they must have disappeared before shipping. Other reviews suggest the provided screws are too short for spray-in lined beds, so they may have been useless to me anyway. I also had trouble with the zip ties. It was 40 degrees Fahrenheit during installation, so the plastic zip ties were brittle. The little tab inside the zipper broke on all five ties that I tried. I ended up using Harbor Freight ties instead. I was surprised to find that they were better than the Curt-supplied ties. In my opinion, the factory zip-ties should be substantial enough to hold up to low and high temperatures. This is a product for pickup trucks, after all. Anyway, I'd recommend the product as long as you're willing to supplement the mounting hardware.

I had a flat bed put on my truck and I wanted to put a plug in with my ball and this made it super easy to do. The plugs fit right up to the plug coming off my truck and was able to plug right up to the plug on the back of the bed. And it’ll be super easy if I ever want to take this off and change it to a different truck. It works amazing ! A very thought out design!
