Winmau Sightright 2.0 for Perfect Dart Vision

An amazing piece of kit, really well made, looks great and the most important issue, it really does improve your accuracy, I’m no pro by far but after an hour I was virtually hitting everything I aimed for for. So happy I bought this. You will not be disappointed

Accuracy has improved, feel much more comfortable stepping up to the oche, darts go in the board straight. It's only two planks of wood with a line through the middle which you could make yourself if you had the dimensions, but I was happy to pay £17 for the results it gives. Definitely worth it for anyone serious about their darts.

After a break from darts for 15 years I struggled to find my line - very simple concept which works really well - for what is a piece of wood painted black - it's a tad on the expensive side.

Really useful if you have trouble with your sighting and positioning at the Oche. Once you have used this for a while and the muscle memory kicks in it becomes less useful, but always good to have to spot check your positioning every once in a while! This is quite large unfortunately and I feel it could be slimmed down a little, if your board is on a wall and you have a clear space underneath it this shouldn't be an issue. My board however is attached to a 3 legged portable stand which unfortunately means this product doesn't fit appropriately (fortunately as I mentioned I have less of a need for it now after my initial practice phase where I had a wall attached board). It also came with a handy check out card and plumb bob to align the SightRight to the centre of the board!

Brings your game on a treat I use in conjunction with a thin strip of masking tape from middle of double 20 down through the bull to middle of double three. These two together help me practice throwing the dart straight. What a difference to you game!!

don’t really think this is something you need. You could make something similar yourself as long as you centre it properly. Expensive for what it is

I can see the theory behind this and it would be a good buy for someone starting out. Turns out I was lining up at the oche correctly and the problem was actually with my throw so a waste of money for me personally. Slight adjustments made to my throwing technique and now my darts now fly with more accuracy. Overall a decent product, just not one that had any benefit for me.

Well constructed, made from sturdy material and set up is easy. When I first started using it I was truly surprised how often I naturally approached the oche at a slightly different place. After a few hours of using this I noticed that I no longer make that mistake (as often anyway!). With the impact your mind can make on a game of darts, I think this gadget is a great aid for helping to eliminate one of those demons. Players who choose to stand off-centre might not find it as useful.

An dieser Stelle bewerten wir das SightRight 2 aus dem Hause Winmau. Es soll zum einen die Biomechanik und Technik beim Darten verbessern sowie die Flugbahn der Dartpfeile stabilisieren. Und ja, wir können es vorwegnehmen, es funktioniert. Aber zuerst einmal betrachten wir das Produkt selbst. Das SightRight 2 ist aus Kunststoff gefertigt, sieht sauber verarbeitet aus und die Qualität wirkt wertig. Vom Gewicht ist es sehr gut ausgelegt, so dass es relativ gut immer an der gleichen Position liegen bleibt. Als ersten Schritt zentriert man das SightRight unterhalb des Dartboards, so dass die Linienmitte des SightRight zu dem des Bullseye zeigt. Anschließend nimmt man seine gewohnte Normalposition an der Wurflinie (Oche) ein, und überprüft, was man auf dem SightRight 2 erkennt. a) sieht man eine gebrochene oder geknickte Linie oder b) sieht man eine durchgehende, gerade weiße Linie? Bei b würde man richtig stehen, bei a müsste man seine Position dementsprechend korrigieren. Beim gezielten Darttraining mit dem SightRight 2 gehen wir momentan folgend vor: Positionieren, ausrichten, mit der Wurfhand zielen – aber beim Wurf nicht aufs Board schauen. So konzentriert man sich am besten nur auf den Wurf und seiner Wurfhand. Dieses Element bauen wir seit einiger Zeit immer als erstes beim Darttraining ein, anschließend erfolgt das Darten mit Blick aufs Board in Verbindung wieder mit dem SightRight 2 (Doppel- oder Triple- Felder) Bezogen auf unser Darttraining und unseren persönlichen Fortschritten können wir dieses Produkt als eine gute Trainingsergänzung nennen. Okay, über das Thema Preis-Leistung könnte man noch reden. Wir sagen es einmal so: ob der Preis nun angemessen oder etwas zu hoch ist lassen wir so erst einmal stehen, Dart sollte Freude machen und wenn man mit solch einen zusätzlichen Produkt beim Darten persönlich weiter vorankommt, glauben wir, kann man es sich selbst hin und wieder etwas gönnen. Da es an der Verarbeitung und der Qualität am SightRight 2 nichts auszusetzen gibt und wir eine klasse Möglichkeit bekommen haben, um uns beim Darten zu verbessern, vergeben wir für dieses Produkt ein Daumen hoch. Great training aid! Highly recommend for any serious player.

Interesting product. Turns out I was one inch too much to the right. Not a game changer product. Just bought it out of curiosity. If I had known what it was exactly, would have never bought it. It's not bad but it doesn't change your score much.
