Simple product; reasonable price
I bought this adapter to allow use of a wireless connection for a Roland VS-2000CD digital audio workstation. Unfortunately, having tried it, the Roland does not seem designed to allow a wireless connection. I do not think that this is due to a problem with the adapter. The Roland has only a single port for a mouse. I wanted to use a wireless USB keyboard and mouse that share a single transmitter but it is not working with this device. I can continue to use a wired PS/2 mouse but was hoping to eliminate the clutter of the wires. I also have an older computer that I am going to try it with.

MISLEADING TITLE AND ITEM!!!! False advertising yet again...
This item has a picture of a mouse on it indicating that it works for a mouse, but the title of this item indicates that it works for both mouse and keyboard. However, it only works with the keyboard! I don't mind buying individual adapters, but I prefer to know it up front as opposed to buying them and then finding out I have to buy another one after I get it, when I could have just ordered both at the same time and saved myself the inconvenience and wasted time. False advertising!

Good parts to connect USB to the older PS2 ports
These are great for using newer mouses and keyboards into older equipment. I found that these work well for both mice and keyboards. They are easy to use, just connect USB to PS2 connectors.

Doesn't work in my Dell Optiplex 70xx or Windows 11
I got a hold of some Dell Optiplex 7000 machines and saw PS/2 ports on it. I thought it would be a good idea to get these to plug my keyboard and mouse into the PS/2 ports and save me 2 USB-A ports. It turns out they don't work as I intended. The mouse gets power but doesn't work and they keyboard doesn't get power at all. After much investigation, I found that legacy devices must be enabled in BIOS - which means secure boot must be turned off. Windows 11 will not work without secure boot so this ends my journey with these adapters. I ended up plugging the keyboard and mouse into USB-A ports. I'm keeping the adapters because they were affordable enough.

Seems to work fine for any dual-mode mouse
They seem to work just fine for any dual-mode mouse that's designed for this type of adapter dongle, and it appears that any incompatibility issues that might occur are a matter of the mouse not being dual mode (i.e., not supporting PS/2 mode, as in some recent revisions of Logitech mice that were originally dual-mode), rather than the computer not supporting the dongle.

it actually worked!
Was having an issue after doing our year-end office cleanup. We figured "who the heck uses PS/2 anymore? i haven't in forever" Well... one of our older backup servers failed a few days ago and it refused to enable USB support in the BIOS so I couldn't put the device into recovery mode. Ended up being stuck in an endless boot-loop. Figured PS/2 is normally powered into BIOS so I purchased one of these adapters. Despite warning from other people saying it may not work, it definitely worked on the main intent (the backup server) and on a really old laptop and another PC that happened to have PS/2 ports I wanted to test on. All three worked fine but all i cared about was getting my backup server running. worked great! $5 saved sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much potential loss and time wasted. Plastic mold is a little off so it wasn't built the best, but the connectors themselves are solid and snug. no loose stuff here.

Nonostante avessero avvertito che con alcune schede madri questi adattatori non avrebbero funzionato, invece a me per fortuna hanno funzionato, quindi li consiglio.
