I already had so many of these storage bins so it made sense to purchase these to get them off of the garage floor and utilize some of the open ceiling space. They hold 6 bins (I only have 5 hanging at the moment). Installation was easy after finding the ceiling studs/beams. My only dislike is that when 2 bins are placed next to eachother, they have a bit of an overhang. Both bins do not fit inside the tracks as pictured. I don’t think that’s a huge deal, but I just need to remember not to push 1 bin in too far and potentially knock the other bin off!

It works okay. The rails are set up for maximum weight capacity when spacing of the joists or truss chords are 16" o.c.. At 24" o.c., you can only use two lag screws.

The item is of good quality, but the installation is not the greatest. The main issue is that you have to have 2 x 4s running in the right direction that you need, and you have to find the studs with a stud finder. Finding the stud is easy enough with a good stud finder, but if they aren’t spaced the right width that is needed for the brackets then they won’t work. Your studs will also need to be running the direction that you want the bins to slide in and out. They provide 5/16 lag bolts to screw the brackets into. Problem with that can be that if you don’t get the lag centered on the stud it could split the stud, or crack it. I used 1/4 lags because in my experience that is more than enough. Also If the rails aren’t lined up correctly (and there’s very little room for error on the spacing) they won’t slide in and out properly. I used them because I have access to the overhead area in my garage. My studs did not line up and were running the wrong direction. So I had to install 4 x 4s going the direction I needed. Lastly, if you have them overhead and are standing on a ladder to take one of the bins out it can be very difficult. You have to be facing them and slide the bin towards you. They have to slide all the way out and then you are standing on a ladder with a large bin and have to step down the ladder without being able to really see your feet. You’re probably wondering why I took all the time to use them. I had 6 brand new bins that I bought for something else so I didn’t have to buy any bins. I also have a tall portable table. So I slide the bin an out and without stepping down the ladder I place them on the table.

After looking at multiple types of racks I decided on these because of the versatility of how they can be arranged. Once installed they worked very well and seem strong enough to support a good amount of heavy bins. I may add a few more to add more storage. These should work very well for most situations.

Great product. It took 2 of us a couple of hours at an easy pace to install two packages. The instructions were pretty simple, parts were well marked, well made and there was extra parts, although they were not required. The only small issue we had was the installation direction of the small nut/bolt to hold the 2 rails together and only because it landed at a stud, so we had to flip half of them around . I bought the large 102 ltr bins (black with yellow lid) at Home Depot, they were a lot less expensive than on Amazon. All in all a great experience and I would buy these again.

Mit den Überkopfregalen bekommt man easy mehr Stauraum unter der Decke. Die Montage ist allerdings nicht ganz soooo easy. Trotzdem Kaufempfehlung, da Stauraum sehr viel wert ist :)

Excellent. Easy to install and comes with all the hardware (screws, drill bit, hex head driver). Works great. I used 100 liter containers.
