Very good this teaches me hindi really well

This book is well structured and takes you nicely by the hand through Hindi script both for reading and writing. There are plenty of useful exercises to practise and it gives you a real sense of achievement as you soon make progress and realise that what looked nearly impossible to master is in fact fun to learn and you can get there!

A good introduction

I learned the script by copying printed materials so I now write like a child. I wish this book had been around when I started. If anything it's over-informative. Sometimes all I need is a simple alphabet showing how the individual letters are constructed.

I bought this book along with the Hindi Flash Cards Kit, one month ago. Today I can read the Hindi text on the flash cards, even though I don't have all the words memorized yet. Along with Essential Hindi (Tuttle) to actually learn sentence structure, I am very happy with my progress in a short time.

I am trying to learn Hindi. This book will be my guide to learn how to write and read it. It is very well structured and contains more information and exercises I hoped for. The print is very good readable. The format and light weight will allow me to carry it with me. Very happy with this purchase.

I absolutely love this book, it’s easy to use, the layout is great. I also found that the information was gradually presented in such a way to help one ease into different subjects. For example, there is a introduction to the script then writing practice and finally basic vocabulary is introduced using letters you have learned and before you know it you are reading!!! It’s pretty fun and the progression of learning is amazing. I recommend this book.
