I am beyond happy with my purchase of the DoHonest Baby Car Camera. If you are debating between a traditional back-seat mirror and this camera system, go with the camera—it is a total game changer for peace of mind while driving. The Picture Quality: The HD 1080P resolution is incredibly sharp. Even during night drives, the night vision is clear enough to see if my baby’s eyes are open or closed without needing to turn on any interior lights. Setup & Ease of Use: It was very easy to install and fits securely. We absolutely love our DoHonest car baby camera! It’s easy to install and provides a clear picture of the baby. The infrared feature helps at night as well. I highly recommend purchasing this camera for your vehicle. We got a second one for my husband’s vehicle after seeing how great our first one was. I love being able to see my child in the moment in my dash board without having to turn around so often. This is especially helpful while his car seat is rear facing. And you can’t beat the price of this camera!

I'm very happy with this purchase. I wasn't sure if I wanted a camera or to save a few bucks and just get an old school mirror. Now that I've been using this camera now for about a week or so, I'm definitely happy a spent the little extra for this camera. It's much easier and safer just looking at the camera in front of me rather than turning around to see a mirror or trying to look in the rear view mirror to see the baby in his mirror. The resolution is great, I can see my baby clearly in day or night. I think I remember seeing some other reviews were they say the video is always black and white. There has been a couple times during the day that it has switched to night mode (black and white), but only when I've gone thru a patch of dark shade. For the most part tho, it stays in color, and I'm fine with it going to night mode occasionally because I can see my baby in night mode very clearly, whereas if it stayed in color I might not see as good since the picture would be a little darker. Setup was super easy, plenty of cord length in order to reach were you need them, and plenty of length to hide the wires however you want under floor mats or behind panels. The components are very sturdy when mounted, so I haven't noticed any camera bouncing motion or it being unsteady. Also, there is a menu to fine tune picture quality, brightness, tint, saturation, etc., although it isn't really necessary since the picture quality is perfectly fine straight out of the box. Once again, I'm very happy I choose to spend just a few extra dollars to go with the camera instead of a baby mirror!

This is a great camera for the price. The picture is very good and the camera has a wide field of view. I use it to keep track of my dog in the back seat. The camera is mounted high on the headliner looking diagonally accross the entire seat from door to door. both day and night vision work well. Have used it for over a month and no problems.

Amazing quality and super clear picture, even at night. It made such a difference being able to easily see my baby while rear-facing without having to turn around. Setup was quick and straightforward, and I haven’t had any issues with connection or performance. Definitely gives extra peace of mind while driving. Would absolutely purchase again.

The camera itself was better than I expected. It was easy to put together and installed easily in the car. The cord is long but was fine to under the mats and seat, just used the extra twisty ties and I wrap the excess cord so it wasn’t loose everywhere. Camera is very clear during day and even night. Works well, onky complaint was trying to suction the monitor to the dashboard. It wasn’t very sticky when we tried the 1st time, tried a few more times and got it to stay. Hope it lasts a while.

You have to thread the cable thru the car to attach the camera to the head rest or wherever you are placing. Limited amount of cable so limited options of how far back you can place. The camera turns off when the car does, so you have to restart every time. The restart button is hard to find since it is even with the camera base (does not stand out). The monitor is clear and has great night time vision. Large display gives great view of person you are monitoring. After you install, the irritant is the restart.

Very useful product. It allows me to see my baby girl anytime we drive! And the night vision is amazing! Very good picture quality and perfect size on the dash. The stand with the suction is very well made and stays in place. The cords provided are more than sufficient to connect the camera to the backseat. Possibly even to the 3rd row if you have one. I highly recommend, especially for the price. Also, customer service was great, responsive and helpful!
