Great product. Makes beer can chicken much less precarious

is very stable compared to a can, machine washable, and can put anything in - not just beer!

Keeps your chicken nice and moist filled with beer, crushed garlic and thyme. Can use marinade or chicken stock too Would recommend

Used it a few times on my mini kamado, works a treat. However, it became brittle and the bottom cracked open. I’m presuming it was because it was directly on the heat deflector and not on the wire grill. So make sure to leave an air gap!

Awesome to cook chicken in it, just don’t overfill it as I did on the first time.

This is ideal for placing herbs and spices and of course beer in the base. I’ve used it twice and it’s easy to clean and holds a whole chicken upright easily I think it adds flavor and moisture as advertised.

Great quality and fast delivery

You cannot do without this cooking stand if you want to grill a whole chicken and use beer to keep the bird moist. What I like of this ceramic one is the ease of cleaning. The metal cooking stand works fine but it takes a lot of effort to clean and I know because I own both. I use Pam to spray the ceramic stand and especially on the bottom where grease easily bakes on. A next time I plan on trying a turkey and if it is not large I expect that it will be supported by the Kamado Joe. A must item for the grilling enthusiast.
