I grabbed this 255” Drive Belt 41A5434‑13A for my 8ft Chamberlain/Craftsman opener, and it could not have been easier. The belt fit perfectly, the quality feels just like the original, and the whole swap took about 10 minutes start to finish. My garage door is running smoother and quieter than it has in years. I was hesitant to buy an aftermarket belt for my LiftMaster garage door opener, but when I found out the new OEM belt was $130 and a new garage door opener is around $200, I decided to take a chance on the cheaper $30 belt. If all else fails, I figure I'll replace my 20-year old door opener altogether - there's no way I'm spending $130 on a new belt. It has only been a week, but so far this belt has worked great, and installation was very straightforward. Definitely worth the money considering what the OEM costs, seems to be very good quality!!

Fast shipping, excellent quality. Fit perfect, easy to install by myself. Recommend before attaching to the garage door. run the belt a couple times to be sure it is at the correct down location. My old belt had stripped 8 inches of gears, so when I hooked it up. It was set too high, and almost wrecked the new belt After that experience, I ran it without the door attached to see the correct location on the down cycle. This incident did Not damage the belt but scared me a little. Set contained 2 new links, which was nice. Old link was ok, but used a new one. Once again quiet operation and works perfect.

There seems to be quite a bit of confusion regarding parts for a LiftMaster 3280 1/2HP belt operator. Even with a 7-foot door various part numbers and belt lengths are listed. The 3280 has been discontinued and the new model is an 8355. There can be a lot of confusion due to the actual rail used due to a lack of parts or just laziness on the part of the installer.
