Bomgie pump is awesome. FOLLOW UP
As I stated in my review posted on April 27th 2023, I don't write a lot of reviews. This is my first ever, follow up review! I have used this pump a lot this season. Here in New England we got a lot of rain and I used the Bomgie to pump the water up a very steep slope to my garden. It worked great AS LONG AS YOU CORRECTLY PRIME THE PUMP. The documents that come with the pump state that you need to prime it and how to do it. If I completely fill the chamber, the pump is a beast.

Powerful and reliable!
This is a great pump! it is powerful and easy to use (once you get it going). my previous pump needs to be reprimed everytime water runs low because of pumping but this one can be stop and started without re-priming (it is trying to pump water up from trench/pit). It is also very powerful (flow rate) but it does have this cyclical pattern that I haven't figure out, it would be really strong for about 30 secs then slow down for another 30 and repeat. I am fine with it since I just want to get water out but other uses may want to consider this behavior

This pump is gutless - maybe 20 gallons an hour - I bought two and auto primed both - what a waste
Please - Please do not buy this item. I want to return both pumps but it's too late. I auto primed both pumps and they still did not pump. I believe that someone either purchased before me and did not prime the pumps and killed them - then I purchased they and they dumped the dead pumps on me - or - they assembled the pumps wrong and dumped them on me. I warned you! Stay clear!

NOT RECOMMEND IT
It worked for the first two times fine. After that, this product cannot pumt up water from my small pond, which is 3' x 5', even though I primed it as recommended. NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Great pump
We use this to pull water from our lake to water the lawn. It has to travel about 120 feet uphill. We found this pump more than adequate to do that and very pleased with how it performs.

Respectible light duty pump - You'll get your money's worth.
It's a decent little pump. I do wish the stand on it was designed a little differently. It tends to tip towards the back of the pump with minimum pressure. I think the stand could be redesigned to increase the stability. Other than that, I've used it day in and day out for months and I haven't had any difficulty with it aside from it wanting to tip backwards. I could mount it on a piece of plywood if I wanted to take the time.

Works Brilliantly
I originally bought one of the crappy, loud, $50 transfer pumps for using the water from my kids' inflatable pool to water my back yard. It died an I replaced it with the Bomgie pump. This thing is amazing. It is whisper quiet and seems to supply the same amount of pressure as the spigot on the side of my house. I've used it all summer and it has never let me down. Seriously worth the money and is a great value for what it costs.
