Really good and will not cloud the water

I almost didn’t order it because of the reviews but I am so happy i did! I put 7 bags in a125 gallon tank over egg crate it is beautiful. Don’t Listen to all the hype about making it cloudy follow the direction put it in right out of the bad use the clarification pack that comes with it. My water was crystal clear before I even fished filling the take with water.

I have ordered this item two times now, and despite a screw up on amazon's part, I will probably order it again. If you have Cichlids, and are considering this item, don't listen to what others say about rinsing the sand before adding it to your tank! It specifically says "Do not rinse" on the packaging, and for a reason. Those who say it clouded their tank for multiple days most likely failed to read the instructions on the "Biomagnet" packet included in each bag. The instructions say to mix it into a jar of water from your aquarium, then to add it slowly to the tank after adding all the sand. My tank was crystal clear in LESS THAN 24 HOURS! It looks amazing in my tank, and definitely raised the Ph needed to house African Cichlids. I would highly recommend this product.

Perfect for my mbuna cichlids. Yes the cichlids love to dig their breeding pits in it. Fish are happy so Dad is happy.
