I love my Belula brush, and especially the comb. After a few months of brushing and distributing oils out with this boar brush, it's so much softer and more cooperative than before. My hair is long, about 27 inches, very fine, and other kinds of brushes always seem to rip and break it, while other boar brushes always seem too stiff. I'm a big fan of the wood handle. It's easy to hold from the end or the brush head itself, lightweight, and sturdy. There was some bristle shedding for the first few weeks of regular use, but that's expected with any natural fiber product. The comb that comes with it, however, is absolutely my favorite comb ever. The shape, the prong density, the finish on the wood, I could go on and on about it. It's perfect for gentle detangling, and I use it all the time. The one that came with my original order did break, apparently due to a manufacturing error, but when I reached out to Belula to ask if they sell a replacement comb, they went ahead and sent me a new one. It comes in a beautifully presented box, great for gifting, with a storage bag, a towel headband, and a sticker seal so you know you're not getting someone's returned item. Even the box is well made, in case you're the kind to reuse boxes. Great product, great presentation, great customer service. I plan to buy some as gifts in the future and will recommend it to anyone who will listen to me ramble about hair care.

I wasn't what to expect of a boar's hair brush though I know it is good. It is surprisingly soft. If you are looking to comb out tangles this won't do it but what it does do, and does extremely well, is nurture your hair. Try the old "100 strokes a night" that women used to do and I think you'll find it makes a difference in your hair. Is it because it spreads the natural oils out? Maybe. It's a good brush but I am finding it is best used in combination with another of their brushes, a round one that has both boar's bristles and nylon ones.

Excellent product! The brush is gentle on my long hair and detangles easily. My hair feels smooth and taken care of. I love the pampering feeling nightly!

Ok so this brush is awesome, it just makes my hair a little staticky. I have really thin, fine, long hair. It gets so oily fast. But really, I am obsessed with the comb that comes with this! I use it way more than the brush hahah! It's so amazing at distributing the natural oils on my hair. My hair looks stunning and not staticky after using this comb and I have to wash my hair less. I brush it dry for like 3 minutes a day and it works amazing.

Oooh this is nice and soft and perfect for my extremely fine thin hair. Not sure what to do with the spa headband but the comb is good quality and the bag is a nice touch. I’ll update in a few months how it is holding up.

The packaging itself has to be a talking point. There were technically 3 messages on and in the package consisting of self care talk and a "made with love" moment. I did buy this combo because I am struggling with hair loss so those words meant a lot. As far as the actual product...wow. Using the boar bristle brush feels like heaven on my hair compared to what I was using beforehand. A few swipes left my hair feeling super soft. And the wide tooth comb is a good complimentary item to detangle first. Additionally, Im guilty of twirling my hair too often and that causes anxiety about losing more hair. So, when I put the heandband on it calmed a sensory overload that I was experiencing. I would recommend for anyone with long hair but especially people experiencing hair issues.

For the price it’s good quality, but I have noticed that a couple of the bristles have come out when I clean it. Not a lot, maybe three or four so far over 2-3 times I’ve cleaned it. But it does seem like you need to be gentle with it.

I remember these brushes were popular when i was yong but i didnt really know what the purpose of the bore bristles were at the time. This 100% bore bristle brush definitely helps with less breakage,it distributes the natural oils down your hair as you brush, making your hair shiny and soft. It's best to separate your hair into sections and then brush your hair. I feel that my hair looks healthier and it definitely takes the frizz away giving you a smooth but full look. It is not a styling brush. I bought this same brush for my daughter and it is so much easier to brush her hair and she says that it doesn't hurt like the brushes with plastic bristles and it doesn't break her hair. I definitely recommend this brush to anyone who wants beautiful natural hair. Also I don't wash my hair every day and by distributing the oils my hair feels better because the oils don't build up at the roots.

I’m very happy with this purchase. The brush comes in a pretty box with a come, soft adjustable headband and storage bag. Everything looks like it is of good quality and will last me a very long time. The instructions on how to use the brush are very helpful and easy to understand. The brush is very soft. For the best results one needs to have a little patience and brush twice daily for 2-5 minutes. My hair is fine and straight, so I feel like I brushed enough after 2 minutes. The brush leaves my hair silky and soft and it distributes sebum well. This brush is not for detangling hair or for wet brushing (as is clearly mentioned in the instructions). Easy to clean by soaking in hot water with a few drops essential oil.
