Zumba Core 2012 (Nintendo Wii) : desertcart.co.uk: PC & Video Games Review: Zumba Core Is The One! - I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! It is lot better than the Original Zumba dvd version in my opinion. I dont have the 1st and 2nd of the wii version. It did not appeal to me when they were new on the market. After reading some negative reviews on top of it, I thought forget it, I'm not buying the wii version of Zumba. After a while, I get bored with the songs in the Zumba dvd itself! I need something new to combine with the basic steps of the Original Zumba. Thanks to those who wrote the reviews for the above product, I found what I was looking for, to boost up my Zumba regime!.As any product mostly be, the latest tends to improve and supersedes the previous. Most points have been mentioned by the other buyers so, I am just adding on a bit more here. Each song comes with low, medium or high intensity indication. Which I find very helpful. There are few songs which are actually meant for warming up or cooling down...fab! On days where you want to go easy, just pick up those low or medium songs, likewise, if you are feeling energetic and want to run the house down, the selections are there. What I love most about the Zumba Core is, there is no timing on the screen. It puts me off seeing how many more minutes is left before you complete the task. Lastly, you dance hands free ...remote in the belt's pocket and you are good to go. No holding remote business, no holding stick, nothing! Just dance! (Having said that, I think I'm going to ditch the Zumba dvds after this..lol!) All in all, it was worth the penny. Review: Just Brillant! - I have been going to Zumba classes for over 2 years and was looking for something similar for at home to better suit my schedule. Decided to get Zumba Core, as opposed to the other 2 versions of Zumba available on Wii due to the overwhelming amount of positive feedbacks and I am absolutley on the same page with the reviews! It is very easy to use, a good variety of dance moves with a broad range of intensity to suit the different needs on different days. The moves are incredibly easy to follow and the workout I get from it is as good as I did while in a live class. You can choose to have a short class (20 mins) to medium class (40 minutes) to a full-class (60 minutes), which is just perfect to fit different time availability. At the completion of each new class, you get forms of motivations such as medals, unlocking new videos and techniques/calories updates as you move along - I love it! This is just great because rather than rushing to meet the timing of a class like I used to, I just pop in the disc and I can get as many workouts I want per week at my convenience! Absolute thumbs up!

Zumba fun
Really enjoying working out with this Zumba. You can set yourself goals to help keep yourself motivated. I have not tired of it yet and I am working my way through the awards and bonus content. Music is great. Short ( about 20 minutes) medium (about 45 minutes) and long (60 minutes) class so no excuse not to fit a class in. Better than the first Zumba for sure, feels easier to achieve your stars even though I feel I am working out more. The only problem I have is the belt. I find myself getting distracted and fixing it as it moves around as I dance. I still love this and would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a little fun exercising.

Disappointed
I can't describe my purchase.I not received my parcel yet, the parcel was suposed to be delivered on Sunday and today is Tuesday and I still without it.I have received a message saying there was a 1st and 2nd attempt but is wasn't because I stayed home all day waiting for it.I don't understand why should I write any review.I don't know why this courier is making it up, even though he has not turn up at my door step yet. am so disappointed at this time.

Zumba
There is nothing wrong with this item but it was too fast for me being a pensioner I thought I could keep up with my granddaughter, how wrong was I. So I passed it on to someone else. They love it.

Good but not great
First of all the game is a reasonable mix of ability levels, I would prefer more higher impact though, but I feel my fitness level needs more pushing, but on the whole it is good for beginners and intermediate people. Not so much experienced as I unlocked many levels too easily, too quickly, I think I did one medium length routine and about 7 stars were broken. Secondly, I would have thought the makers would have improved the sensitivity of the scoring system, (between 1 and 2 was much greater than between Zumba 2 and Core). The belt contraption is not fit for purpose. In different tracks you have to re position the handset, depending on the type of exercises each track entails. But it still moves all through the routines. 'Dancing with Myself' being a prime example of this, I have to hold the controller so still, losing my arm movement so it doesn't fly around and so I actually score some 'hits' on the scoring. Also some of the higher impact routines in Core and the 2nd edition, and so choreographed the controller would constantly jump out of the holder. I have had to secure it with pins, so when it does fly around it doesn't fall on the floor, particularly the tracks called 'Jump, Jive and Wail', 'Sugar Plum Fairy' and 'For You' amongst several others. And even if you do all of this, and are reasonably practiced, the scoring doesn't pick up the same movement and score accordingly every time, even though you do repeat as near to perfection each time. Thirdly, something is not right in the classifications. I believe the given impact level of the songs isn't very accurate, for example, I do not see 'Ella me Copia' as high impact, there is little more than glorified walking at one point in the routine, 'Vem Vem' again you really have to put some effort in for get a increase in heart rate, for what is for all intense and purposes, pelvic thrusts for more than half of the song and 'Sweet Girl' not as hard as it should be, 'Shake it' not a low impact, med if not higher in comparison to some of the others. I also find some of the ease of routines extremly stilted, i.e. not fluid, odd counting rhythms ( I try and count steps not just follow the change in step on inset picture) and some very easy, regardless of the impact level. To put it another way, I made my own routine of 12 songs, one was low, one med and ten high level, and yet I apparently didn't 'burn' as many calories as some of the set routines with more low/med and less high impact choices. I promise I give every single routine and session as much gusto as I can! General suggestions if the makers do read the comments: I would like to have more than 12 songs in my playlist, rather than making a 2 part routine, some days I want to do more than an hour. I prefered the statistics when I would know individual days figures not over a week, or a month. Is there any way of voting to have previous tracks to be included in subsquent games, or making it some how interactive over the internet to download extra routines? I miss some of the previous routines when you get a new game, I would like to mix all three games for my own entertainment instead of having to change the games over, or maybe if the video extras were actually extra routines, setting higher bars and better rewards would drive me on!

Echt super!
