Green Pasture Butter Oil/Fermented Cod Liver Oil Blended Gel - 6.4 oz.- Cinnamon

I prefer getting nutrients from real food rather than a lab, and this is one of the best ones you can take. You get the fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, and K, including K2) as well as Omega 3 fatty acids. None of these are truly obtainable from plants, which only provide precursors that the human body doesn’t convert in large enough amounts to be useful. There's also probably nutrients that we simply don't know about yet. I started this along with several other changes such as cutting out sugar & grains, so it's hard to tell what helped the most, but I find I'm now much more resilient to colds (including the Big C), and many annoying little health problems such as plantar fasciitis and cankersores disappeared. This is especially good for us older folks; I give it to my mother too, and she also has seen some similarly positive results. A tip for usability: keep this in the fridge. The solid form is easier to serve out and way less messy than the liquid oil, and also does a better job of hiding the taste of cod liver oil. Update: Unfortunately, this product is now shipped in a bag, not a box. As a result, it arrived broken. The seller does not accept returns. I was able to get Amazon to refund the purchase price, but they said they would only do that once. I ordered again thinking this was just a mistake, but it again came in a bag (not broken fortunately). So, unfortunately I can no longer buy this product on Amazon - I get it directly from the manufacturer instead.

I’ve purchased this a a few times and the taste is great. It tastes like cinnamon butter, but it does have a hint of a fish aftertaste. Nothing like taking plain cod liver oil. The quality is great and comes highly recommended by Weston price.

I have tried expensive capsules, I have tried orange flavored liquid oil, but I've always been afraid that I would waste money buying the original, because if it makes me gag I'm not going to go back to it. So I was presently surprised about this cinnamon flavor! I keep it in the fridge so that it has more of a fudge consistency, and I just use a clean spoon and slip it onto my tongue and swallow it as fast as I can, and it really leaves a very pleasant cinnamon flavor, and I don't usually even enjoy cinnamon very much. Very natural as well, it doesn't taste exactly like cinnamon red hots, but it is similar to that without spiciness. There is a light fishy undertone, but I went from being apprehensive to actually almost looking forward to it. So I think that's pretty significant!

Everyone should take this. Healed my cavities and strengthens bones. Also good for immune system and brain health.

The product is good quality and I like the cinnamon flavor. But why is the jar so hard to open??!!

I’m writing this review to address the taste. There are a lot of complaints but the cinnamon just tastes overwhelmingly of cinnamon. I am used to regular cod liver oil with lemon but this was my first time trying the fermented stuff with butter oil. I like this stuff better. It’s much more expensive but I’m just going to stick with this one while I’m working on my teeth.

Awesome product from a fantastic American company that supports the military and veterans. I got the cinnamon flavor, and while it definitely isn’t a great taste overall, it’s better than I expected fermented fish oil would taste or smell. Just take it straight with a gulp of liquid to wash it down—no fuss. DO NOT mix it with your oatmeal hoping it will become cinnamon oatmeal; trust me. I’m already feeling better in terms of brain fog, and I’m hoping it will help lower my blood pressure with longer use, as I’ve only been taking it for a week so far.
