I love this brand! My Bernina dealer recommended it when I purchased the machine. This stretch thread is great and works si much better than the thread in the store. The value is great, especially when you consider the frustration you’ll miss using this brand.

Thread was just ok. Really no better than you could find at Hobby Lobby or Joann’s

Great thread for projects that need stretching threads

While it is advertised as elastic thread, I would probably not say it is an elastic, but that it is more stretchy than regular thread. For example, you would not use this for shirring. You would use regular elastic thread for shirring. To get the stretch benefit you would need to use it in both the bobbin and the needle. It would be good to use for clothing where you needed a little more give than regular thread would give you. Children’s clothing would be a perfect use for this thread. Would work well for sewing T-shirts if you did not have an overlock machine. In short, it is not the same as the elastic thread from the past and should not be used the same. It is a thread that is more stretchy than regular sewing thread, but definitely not elastic.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Item is NOT elastic thread. Do not order this if you are looking for a thread with stretch / elasticity. Inaccurately described.

My bobbin winder did not like this thread. My bobbin thread also kept breaking and getting birds nest. Ended up only using it in the top thread and it served its purpose

I turned to Amazon since we no longer have any sewing purchase options available in my area. I am going to add shirring to a dress for my granddaughter, but this thread isn't going to do it. It didn't pull up the fabric at all. I think I might still find value in it for basting before gathering something. I had to order something different to use on my project.

Una decepción porque lo esperaba con muchas ganas y cuando llega ( por cierto bastante antes de tiempo), pues cuando llega resulta que la elasticidad es casi nula. No digo que sea mal producto, no lo parece aunque tampoco lo he probado pero lo que si es verdad es que no es lo que anuncia. Espero que me lo devuelvan.
